Its a wonderful feeling to see a patients life change by improving the aesthetics and function of his or her smile through gentle, comfortable dentistry. I love working with people and using my hands, and as an art major before deciding to join the dental profession, I have always been interested in creating things that are truly beautiful. It is my pleasure to help someone who is hesitant to smile become an individual with an outgoing expression of confidence. I am honored to have been voted by my peers as a Top Dentist in Phoenix Magazine for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. This is a direct reflection of the help I receive from a talented and supportive staff.
After graduating with my undergraduate degree in zoology studies, I attended the University of Oklahoma and earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Since becoming a dentist in 1988, I have constantly continued to educate myself, exceeding state requirements for certification many times over. I feel continuing education is a crucial part of staying ahead of the curve in relation to new technologies, techniques, and materials used in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
A native of St. Louis, MO, I reside in Mesa with my wife, Christine, and our three sons, Dylan, Trey, and Zach. We love spending time together as a family, especially when were outdoors. I like staying active and can often be found playing tennis, mountain biking, snow skiing, hiking, camping, and running 10K events. Additionally, I have been a sponsor and coach of Little League baseball for ten years and served as assistant Scout Master in the Boy Scouts of America.

Our doctor, Mark Anthony, DDS, has been in the dental field for many years and is dedicated to providing the best oral health procedures in an atmosphere that is personal, caring, and warm. We are excited to announce the American Society of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry (ASIRD) has selected us as the top implant team in our area! The Society limits membership to one implant team in each geographic region and membership is by invitation only - we are thrilled to accept this honor, and to continue to provide exceptional implant services to our patients.
In addition to general hygiene services, including scaling and root planing, we also provide bonding, veneers, teeth whitening, and tooth-colored fillings. Our prosthodontic services also include implant crowns and dentures.
Many of our patients drive long distances to be treated here at Picasso Dental, where every procedure is considered an art. We make it our business to go the extra mile for you, taking time to answer all of your questions, offering blankets if you are cold and need to snuggle, and the Doctorcalling you on the evening after dental treatment to make sure you are okay.
Besides the depth of knowledge of our doctor, our patients also choose Picasso Dental, for our insurance expert, Maureen. Maureen will go the distance with insurance companies, writing appeals on our patients' behalf in order to pursue extra payment when appropriate. The fact is that our entire staff is always watching out for your best interests, and we stay in close communication with each other when it comes to making sure you get the correct treatment you deserve.

I have been going to Dr. Beavers for several years. He is so happy all the time. He is very personable. . I trust his opinion. I feel he is honest with me. Best of all he is good at what he does. The office staff is great. Great dental practice.

Thank you so much Dr. Beaver's for the many years of service. It has been probably about 24 years I've been your patient and have NEVER had a negative experience. You and your staff have been super kind, patient, gentle, honest and most of all treated me, my family and friends, I've referred with love and respect. Your team has ALWAYS been up front and transparent every step of the way. I thought moving to another state would mean having to get a new Dentist, I gave another dentist where I live now a valiant effort but couldn't measure up so when I come back to AZ I get the pleasure of being cared for by the best. Congratulations on an amazing career and building a team that is second to none.

Dr. Beavers was very gentle and honest with what's going on with my teeth and treatment I need. He is not pushy about time frame and willing to do small projects instead of a major overhaul all at once. Dr. Beavers makes me feel comfortable and confident even during his procedures. I didn't feel a thing from the moment I opened my mouth until way after I had 2 teeth filled and was well on my way.

great dentist. very gentle, honest and great bedside manner. He was also great with my 6 year old son having to go through 4 cavities. He didn't even feel the numbing needle. Thanks Dr. Beavers.

Before I tell you about the Dr. let me tell you that his hygienist Lauren is clean off the charts. She is far and away superior to anyone I have been to and I am a old man and have seen a Quite a few. Her technique and mannerisms leaves nothing to be desired. Now for Tyrel. I went to him for a lost filling. This was my first visit to him. I found him very informative. He took a lot of time explaining the problem I had, and my options. while examining my mouth he found some other issues and likewise went into detail explaining the whys and wherefores. His technique equals that of Lauren, although she is much cuter. As he was doing the root canal he kept me informed how it was going and continually asking if I was OK. I never felt one thing the whole time. The best dentist i've been to hands down.
