Underhill and now with Dr. Schaffeld at the helm. Despite the change in ownership, one thing hasnt change. Were still dedicated to giving patients the very best care, with the same level of compassion and expertise.
Dr. Schaffeld believes dentistry is the perfect marriage of biology, engineering, and art, and every day he looks forward to working with his talented staff to build strong, caring relationships with our patients. Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Schaffeld studied biochemistry at Central Washington University, graduating first in his class. He went on to earn his DMD from Oregon Health and Science University in 2013, graduating second in his class.
Not only is Dr. Schaffeld a dentist, hes also a new father. When hes not helping patients, he loves spending time with his wonderful daughter and wife. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and playing with his dog.
With more than 26 years of experience as a dental assistant, your smile is in good hands with Laurie. She enjoys working with Dr. Schaffeld to give patients the thoroughly personalized dental care they need. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and golfing.
Ashley has been with our team since 2018, and patients quickly learned that they can rely on her to keep them safe, comfortable, and smiling throughout their time in the dental office. Ashley attended Linn-Benton Community College, and shes trained as an expanded functions orthodontic assistant. Originally from Corvallis, Oregon, Ashley is married with two children, two dogs, two fish, and one cat. She likes to go hiking in her free time when shes not at work or spending time with her friends and family.
Chelsea is one of our dental hygienists. Since joining the team in 2018, Chelsea has greatly enjoyed getting know our patients, so she can help them achieve their oral healthcare goals. Chelsea studied at Lane Community College, and she has her nitrous oxide certification and her expanded practice and restorative function permits. She is happily married to Travis, and they have one dog, Sugar, a pig named Wilber, three cats, and a sugar glider. When shes not hard at work, youll find Chelsea spending time with her family, friends, and animals. She also enjoys cooking, baking, hunting, and being outdoors. She has been a coffee drinker since middle school when she worked in her church coffee shop. She even has her own espresso machine and lots of flavors. She would love to own a bakery/coffee shop someday.
