Kristal grew up in Tyler and was a 2001 graduate of RTR High school. She then went on to complete her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2006. Dr. Wilmes then relocated to the twin cities where she worked as a dental hygienist before returning to school to further her education to become a dentist. She graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2018. Dr. Wilmes is very happy to return home and provide dental care to the area. Dr. Wilmes is a member of the Minnesota Dental Association the American Dental Association.
