Dr. Lenora Covington has been keeping children's smiles beautiful and healthy since 2003. She received an Associates degree in Allied Health Dental Hygiene from Greenville Technical College in 1993 and worked as a dental hygienist in the Upstate for 5 years. Dr. Covington obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina Spartanburg and graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She went on to complete the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Medical University of South Carolina, as well as a Pediatric Dental Residency program at the University of Alabama Birmingham, where she served as Chief Resident. Welcome! Im Andrea and I love helping children overcome their fears of coming to the dentist with lots of Tell-Show-DO and an introduction of all the helpers. Working in our office, I assist Dr. Covington with procedures. Its really rewarding to earn a childs trust and to get a big, happy smile at the end of a visit!
I moved to Greenville from Columbia, SC, in 2015. My husband Aaron and I married in 2018 and we recently moved to the Greer area. No children in the picture, yet, but we would love to be a family of four someday! I enjoy traveling and trying new things everywhere I go, whether thats different foods or activities. When Im not traveling, I enjoy getting together with friends and hanging out in downtown Greenville. I am a huge family-oriented person and a dog lover, too.
Hello! Im Regina and I love talking with kids and getting to know them. I work chairside, assisting Dr. Covington with procedures while chatting with our patient about what were doing. I also take impressions and pour models for appliances. Sometimes children are worried about whats going to happen, so I listen and explain everything in non-threatening words. Big smiles at the end of a procedure, when a patient is proud of how well theyve done, are the best!
I love football my team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Also, I am a wife to Wayne and have two boys, Courtney and Cameron, who are now men but still my babies. My favorite color is pink, I love pizza and ice cream, and if I didnt already mention it, my team is the Steelers!
I was born in Texas but have lived in South Carolina for about 20 years. I have a beautiful daughter and a sweet dog. My daughter and I love time together, especially traveling. We also love attending professional soccer matches whenever theyre in town. Before COVID-19 hit, I spent Fridays volunteering at my daughters school.

I seat and prepare patients for treatment, help Dr. Covington chairside, teach patients about dental hygiene, and take X-rays. So thankful to find a dentist who is so intentional in tailoring her practice to kids. Dr. Covington takes the time to explain everything in kid friendly language and has a beautiful facility with bright murals and TVs in each room to put kids at ease. She is patient, gentle, and compassionate in her work, and I am so grateful to have her (and her wonderful staff of hygienists) caring for my kids' teeth!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Called to see about getting my daughter her 1st dental appointment, and was told that they are not accepting patients who have Medicaid? I asked if she had regular insurance, would she be accepted and was told yes, but they are currently not accepting Medicaid patients. That's discrimination at it's finest! They get paid regardless of if Medicaid pays or parent pays. They accept Medicaid though. Tuh....Maybe God is just looking out for my daughter's best interest. I will report to Medicaid that this business will not accept Medicaid patients. Yall want to be funny? Let's get all your Medicaid patients taken away and see how it hits your pockets. It was unprofessional and disrespectful.

As a kid I hated the dentist on cavity days, but with the office, there has been a total shift in what a dental experience can be. Dr. Covington and her assistants are incredible! My daughter is 2, and they were able to get her to sit comfortably by using amazing tactics and above all else, kindness. I appreciate the amazing staff, the welcoming and colorful environment, and wonderful work the team does. We will stay here as long as we can!

Dr. Covington & staff are always so wonderful with our son. Their kid friendly explanations and care of patients do not go unnoticed each visit. Our son had a few questions this visit and Dr. Covington took the time to educate him. Care of baby teeth is just as important as care of adult teeth. It's my duty to ensure proper dental hygiene is handled at home to make dental visits as easy as possible for my littles. Special thanks to Regina for being a calming voice during the cleaning session. See you in 6 months!

Don't bring your children here! The hygienist was unprofessional, aggressive, and impatient. By the next day my son has bruises on his cheeks from where she squeezed him so hard and scratches from her nails!

AMAZING! They were very clean and sterile with proper safety precautions! They were very friendly, professional and quick with my kids! The Dentist and Dental hygienist were thorough, gentle and patient and it definitely takes a lot of patience to keep children calm in anything really! Lol The kids left with a nice dental package and even gave them a little surprise at the end! They really were a comfortable space which really made the kids excited to keep their teeth up! I recommend !

I came to this dentistry on the recommendation from my sister because they'll work with your child to prevent sedation services. I've had really bad experiences with my older children having failed crowns so when I took my 3 yr old son in, I explained that I didn't want any crowns. In Europe, by the way, it's unheard of for children to get crowns. Anyway, I agreed to onecrown on his upper back tooth bc it was in pretty bad shape but went in today for a smaller cavity. As we set down I brought up to the nurses and the doctor that I didn't want crowns. They explained that they think a crown would prevent further decay. I told them that it MIGHT prevent further decay but bacteria can get trapped under the tooth and cause an abscess and decay regardless. Both my older boys had multiple crowns fail and the dentist admitted that she can't promise a crown won't fail In the end, the dentist refused to work on the tooth at all, if I wasn't willing to do what she wanted she's just refuse to treat that tooth. So now I have to find a new dentist. Have you ever heard of a medical professional refusing to provide care unless it was the expensive version? Yeah, that's all I have to say. Take your kids elsewhere.

Today I had an appointment and one of the dental assistant treated my daughter very badly, she was very aggressive with her, she really lacks professionalism.
