Infection Control Procedures ensure your safety, and all procedures at our office exceed even the most stringent guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA).
All instruments and hand pieces are autoclave steam sterilized after every use and disposable items are utilized wherever appropriate. Patients and staff wear protective safety glasses during treatment. Disposable gloves are worn while treating patients and are never used on more than one patient. Staff members wear masks during the procedures to protect our patients.
All areas that are touched during the procedures are covered with a plastic wrap and changed after each patient so as to eliminate the potential of cross contamination. All surfaces, chairs, lights and units are thoroughly disinfected with a chemical solution formulated to kill infectious bacteria, spores, and viruses before and after every patient use.
At Twin Ports Dental, our team members undergo extensive training in sterilization procedures and participate in continuing education courses to keep up-to-date on the most advanced techniques in the industry.
Dr. Neil Olson is originally from Ladysmith, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where the earned his bachelors degree in Biology. He then went on to dental school at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Olson is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Northern Wisconsin Dental Society, and the University of Minnesota Alumni Society. He enjoys all areas of general dentistry with a special interest in rotary endodontics, fixed prosthodontics and dental implants. He strives to constantly expand his knowledge in these areas through continuing education.
During his time at UMD, Dr. Olson competed in Track and Cross-Country and has continued to run competitively since graduating. He was a top 30 finisher in Grandmas Marathon and placed third at Whistlestop. He also helps out as an assistant coach for the Superior High School Cross-Country team. When he isnt running or coaching, he enjoys being outside and doing outdoor activities such as sailing, biking, skiing, hiking, and camping.
Dr. Ferris is originally from Hartland, WI. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University.
While Dr. Ferris enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he is especially interested in cosmetic dentistry. He is certified in Invisalign. He also received honors in aesthetic dentistry at New York University. Dr. Ferris is affiliated with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy for Sports Dentistry.
I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the people of Superior and the surrounding communities with high quality dental care. Technology and tools in dentistry are constantly changing and I am dedicated to continuing my education throughout my career.

I've had several appointments so far and it's by and large my best dental experience. I was very well-informed about the work being done, and every care was taken to ensure that I was comfortable and not feeling any unnecessary pain or discomfort. The staff are polite and sociable. I saw Dr. Riebe and he is great. His work is also great, and I've never been happier with my smile. I would recommend him.

Amazing experience. I was well informed of the dental procedure before during and after the appointment. The staff was both very professional and personal. I felt a personal connection to the office from walking in to walking out. Kylie who cleaned my teeth was very detailed and a joy to converse with about dental hygiene.

We moved to Hermantown almost 3 years ago now, and I still make the drive to come here for my appointments. Dr. Olson always manages to make even getting a cavity filled a relaxing and non-stressful experience. His team is always super friendly and helpful too!

My first visit was several years ago, due to an abscessed tooth emergency. I called my dentist office and they were unable to get me in. Twin Ports Dental was able to get me in to see a Doctor right away. I was so impressed i changed to their office for all of our families dental needs. They came up with a comprehensive dental plan and helped me maximize my dental insurance to get all the work that I needed completed. The office is ultra clean, the staff are super friendly and professional!! I highly recommend their services!
