I was born in Missouri, but spent most of my early life in southeast Arizona. I proudly served in the U.S. Army with the First Infantry Division from 2003-2008 as a TUAV operator and spent two tours of duty with them in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I then attended Utah State University for my bachelors degree in Biology before being accepted into the dental program at Dalhousie Dental School.
Although I was raised in the desert southwest, I have always found myself drawn to water and forests. Having settled here in central Maine after attending dental school in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I have found exactly what I was looking for and have fallen in love with both Maine and an Orono native. We are now raising four teenagers together and I find myself becoming increasingly rooted in the community. Whether we're spending our weekends snowshoeing the City Forest, skiing Carrabassett Valley, hiking the mountains of Maine, kayaking the Penobscot to the Orono Farmers Market, or grabbing a beer at OBC and a pizza at Pat's we believe in community and look forward to continuing to support local businesses and the citizens of central Maine.

I've had two teeth pulled and they made me feel comfortable and content the whole time! They were very understanding of my anxiety and managed my pain and worries like true professionals! Candy who got me ready and the dentist who did the deed were both great!

Wow! I went nearly 10yrs petrified of getting a tooth pulled. The entire staff were so sweet! I have major dental anxiety.... Anxiety in general really. I was shaking and cry/laughing but they did an amazing job and never made me feel like a nuisance or anything. It was quick and painless. I highly recommend twin pines, just wish I could see them as my normal dentist.... Because they're that awesome!

I was super anxious and nervous about having a tooth extracted, I had put it off for over 3 years finally I had to make an appointment. Twin pines extraction got me in fast, there was a lil wait due to it being busy but the extraction itself went fast smooth and basically pain free, worse part is the shots. I will definitely go here for future issues.

I've always had a really hard time when it comes to getting teeth pulled, dentist becoming irritated etc, because my roots are so big it takes much longer for an extraction and is usually a painful experience. I had a tooth extracted here a few weeks ago and the staff was great. The dentist was very patient with me even when my anxiety was so high that halfway thru I had to stop him because I thought I was going to be sick. I needed novacane a few extra times and they were great with that as well. The dentist would do what he could, then leave the room to go to another patient, then return to me and check on me to see how I was doing. I'm really hoping that I never have to get a tooth pulled ever again, but if I do, this will be the only place I will go to now. Thank you guys for everything.

I had such a pleasant experience at Twin Pines Extraction and Dentures!! Friendly office personnel, dental techs and Dr Livingston is an amazing,kind, skilled dentist. I had an extraction,no pain and very skilled personne!!l A very quick experience start to finish in less than an hour. I highly recommend this amazing ,caring and genuinely skilled practice to all in need of their services!!

This was the best dental experience that I've ever had. The atmosphere is welcoming and very comforting. Every staff/facility member had a friendly and calm bedside manner. The extraction was quick and efficient. The assistant I had named Candy made me feel at ease and eliminated any anxiety I had with her pleasant demeanor. Everything was incredibly professional. As a whole, my experience was fantastic and I will continue to see Twin Pines when in need of extractions or dentures in the future.

Awesome I got an appointment for an emergency extraction in a week the dentist was very quick and thorough I was in and out in 5 minutes and I had no pain the next day at all they are in a very convenient location very clean professional office friendly staff

Needed a tooth pulled. Haven't been to a dentist in some time. They got me in as soon as they could and got my tooth out quickly. They were polite, non judgemental, and all around pleasant.

After sreing erickson for extraction and christine for my top denture, i had 13 teeth removed, and top denture. To begin, the surgical area had 3 or 4 people being treated assembly line, erickson was running around with no ppe during covid, and straw breaking my back, i had an appointment for a relining but received a call that there are insurance issues... how does insurance play factor in an issue i paid outta pocket. I was told by erickson and christine that i had one year of maintenance, now im told to try another place that accepts my insurance. Im livid, ive contacted the better business bureau, and state to look into their practices. Im sure twin pine will respond with kind word, and lies, they are crooks, do your research PSA. Edit: if you have had issues with this place, call the better business bureau, they are actively looking into this illegal practice.

Fast and simple. Staff was wonderful. Had a tooth extraction and was in and out within less then an hour. The Dentist and his Assistant were awesome and made me feel comfortable.

Be careful they don't stop when ur in pain n the novacain don't work they keep going and then they send u home with only about 8 strips of gause like horrible experience will not go back to this doc at all

I absolutely love the staff at Twin Pines . I have severe dental anxiety and Candy and Dr.Livingston were so patient and kind with me. Despite my panic and tears they got me through it with kindness. Candly literally wiped my tears and held my hand the entire time. I recommend this Dental clinic a thousand times over.

I have been completely dissatisfied by this office and my dentures. I paid 4000.00 cash and what my Delta dental covered(1500.00) for total extraction and a full set of dentures. They have never fit properly. I went back many times to be refitted and was never comfortable. I was told by Dr. Erickson who was still the owner at the time I began this, that included in the price was my final set of dentures with a refit as long as it was within the year. I was told today that that was misinformation.

They were amazing. I had three teeth pulled on my bottom left side, in the back, which is where I once broke my jaw severely 12 years back. Not only did the dentist and his assistant do a fantastic, pain free job, but they were so polite, friendly and extremely caring people. I'll never go anywhere else. They handle matters very delicately and professionally. I will always pray and thank God for giving this world such great and skilled people to help us all. If your in doubt, please don't be. They got you. Go see for yourself. If you disagree, I'll be here waiting, cuz I'll always stand by these kind people that literally saved my damn life! Thank you again Mr and Mrs Livingston. I went here today for an extraction of my broken tooth. I highly recommend this office. The staff is very friendly, the dentist was awesome to me. Thus far I have no pain from the removal and no trouble so far from the injections of novocaine. Totally recommend this office. It is a relatively new practice, I will go there again. Thank you Dr. Livingston and staff.

Everyone was cool and chill, Dr Livingston is a down to earth guy. Genuinely cares about people as does their staff. I got top and bottom partials, they made sure they fit right, fixed my issues on site. Whole thing too about 2 months start to finish. They look amazing and feel fantastic. Great experience awesome people. Got me right in, worked around me my needs and schedule. Recommend to anyone. Also have had extractions done here. Least amount of pain, no extra damage done to existing teeth.

Twin Pine and Dr Livingston are amazing . I have had major dental issues and a dentist who pulled the wrong tooth ,that took an hour to extract. Went to twin pine and the right tooth was pulled in less than 2 minutes with no issues. I met the doc and his wife while working at my job and they gave me their phone number and treated me with care and kindness. The doc and the dental assistant make you feel like family and keep you feel at ease. I highly recommend them.
