Dr. Butler is passionate about dentistry, and is proud to serve the community of Longmont, Colorado. His focus and passion is centered on treatingpeople, not just teeth, through conservative, esthetic, and comprehensive dentistry that utilizes modern technology and techniques. He enjoys building lasting relationships, beautifying smiles, and improving the lives of his patients.
Dr. Butler obtained his D.D.S. degree from University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, where he graduated with high honors, and was elected to join the Tau Kappa Omega dental honor society. While there, he was the president of the schools chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization he continues to be an active member of today. He spends numerous hours in continuing his education each year to further his dental expertise and stay on the leading edge of technology and innovation in the dental field.
Prior to dental school, Dr. Butler studied Business Administration at Utah State University, where he also met and married his best friend, Annalisa; they have four wonderful children who keep them living a balanced and happy life. He served an LDS mission in Melbourne, Australia and fell in love with the people and culture of Australia.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was so clean and welcoming! The staff is amazing and I absolutely had the best experience as a new patient. Definitely felt comfortable and well-educated about my teeth! 10/10 recommend this office!!!

I am a first time client and had a cleaning with Jacque today. Not only was she professional and friendly but did an amazingly thorough job on my teeth. It has been 5+ years since visiting the dentist because I am terrified of them and have had some pretty traumatic experiences at the dentist. Jacque took her time and this was the least painful cleaning OF MY LIFE. Mild discomfort was the worst of it. Jacque answered all of my questions and with the help of Dr. Butler created a dental plan for me. I look forward to working with the team at Twin Peaks to get my teeth and gums where they need to be.

I used to really love this place a year ago, and now everything has seemed to change: the people at the front desk feel forced to be friendly as opposed to just friendly and happy to be working there and the hygienist that worked on me did extra cleaning on my mouth without telling me that it would cost me extra money [past my monthly membership] that day and I had just lost my job and had a huge medical expense from a prior issue that I had openly discussed with the same hygienist and I had felt completely left in the dark and was upsold even though I clearly was not in the position to be paying for anything extra. I felt like the compassion and family vibe I had felt a year ago was long gone and is now replaced by cheerleaders who just want to upcharge you at all costs, while disregarding patients' stories entirely. Last year, I was definitely upsold, but it felt very transparent and they were able to tell me what was more of a priority as opposed to now, where they make a huge deal out of tartar, when I have cavities that have been bothering me for years as well as 4 wisdom teeth that need to be pulled. I need compassion and true care and I have decided to leave this place for good in search of that once more.

Dr. McKay and his staff are professional, friendly, and courteous. Throughout the pandemic they have been stellar in ensuring good health and safety protocols. My two-year Invisalign journey was very successful. Today's cleaning with Jacque was excellent. Kind, gentle, professional, and thorough. I never wait long for service. The front desk staff are highly efficient and friendly. I strongly recommend this dental office.

First time visiting twin peaks dental. The staff was great from the time I walked in the door. I got my teeth cleaned & met w/ Dr Butler about some dental work I needed. The hygienist, Aimee did an awesome job w/overall cleaning experience. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone.

I went to Twin Peaks for a dental emergency. They took me right in, and assessed I had a cracked rear tooth. The only fix was for it to come out. I have had teeth pulled out before, this was the most gentle experience I have ever had. From the Doctor, the assistant, and the receptionist I was in good hands. Please check them out, they will not disappoint.
