John Klamer, DDS, is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he studied finance and banking before deciding he wanted to be a dentist. After completing his undergraduate education, he went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. He expanded his skills after dental school by completing a General Practice Residency at Truman Medical Center, Lakewood, where he developed his clinical skills and helped many patients achieve better oral health.
Dr. Klamer has engaged in extensive postgraduate education, most recently on the topics of dental implants and implant-retained dentures as well as periodontics (gum disease treatment). His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Association, and Northland Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Klamer and his wife, Brianna, are coming up on their 4th wedding anniversary and love living in the Northland! He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fly fishing, as well as chasing upland birds with his bird dog, Boone.

Alysia grew up here in Kansas City and graduated from Concorde Career College as a medical assistant. She started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant soon after, when she fell in love with the dental field! Alysia now has 10 years of dental experience and has done everything from dental assisting to front desk reception, scheduling, insurance, claims, billing, and more. She has always been a team player and isnt afraid to jump in and lend a helping hand where needed at any given moment!
Alysia recently bought her first home near Twin Creeks with her two children and two dogs and loves the area! She enjoys being outdoors, swimming, fishing, cheering on the KC Chiefs, and spending time with her family, friends and neighbors as much as possible!
Our newest team member is from Lawrence, KS, and was a hairstylist for over 10 years. One of her clients, who was a dentist, encouraged her to become a dental assistant, so she did! She became an assistant at the Lawrence Dental Clinic working with low-income families and traveling to schools to help treat children who couldnt afford dental care. After several years of assisting, she switched to a front desk position and thoroughly enjoys interacting with patients!
Ann graduated with a BA in Biology from the University of Kansas and later obtained a BS in Dental Hygiene from UMKC. She has been providing quality care to patients in this practice for over 20 years seeking to treat each patient with kindness and respect while teaching them about their oral health.
Ashley earned her bachelors degree in dental hygiene from the UMKC School of Dentistry after completing her degree in psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University. Prior to joining the Twin Creeks Family Dentistry team, she worked training dogs in the Kansas City area and volunteered to provide oral health care for local schools, including Operation Breakthrough.
Ginny grew up in St. Joseph, MO, and attended college at MWSU. She completed her Basic Skills at Ozark Technical College. She has over 11 years of experience in the dental field and takes pride in putting adults and children at ease when it comes to oral health care. She is a valuable asset to our office and loves working alongside Dr. Klamer as well as her team. What she enjoys most about her role as a dental assistant is getting to interact with patients while helping them improve their smiles.
Ginny and her husband Caleb have two beautiful girls, Kyleigh and Aspen, who enjoy cheerleading and gymnastics. Outside of work, she loves watching them perform and compete. They otherwise stay busy enjoying the outdoors and doing CrossFit. Theyre also HUGE Chiefs fans and spend their Sundays in the living room watching the game! GO CHIEFS!

My 91 years old dad has been having trouble with his dentures. Dr. Patel, Camren and the staff did an excellent job in putting a soft liner as a short term solution and then putting a hard liner as a permanent solution. We will be going to this doctor and this office for sure. I encourage you to consider it.

First visit to Twin Creeks Family Dentistry since Dr. Patel took over the practice. She is extremely professional and friendly and very efficient. Great chair side manner. Dental hygienists Ashley and Ann who have cleaned and polished my choppers as well as the front office staff (Alysia and Josie) are very professional, friendly and thorough in getting me checked in and checked out. Very happy with this dental practice.

I met Dr. Patel for the first time today, and I was very impressed with how she showed me pictures of the tooth in need of repair, as well as her explanation of why it needed to be taken care of.
