Daniel Mabaet is a Bay Area native from Vallejo, California. He has over a decade of dental experience serving in the Solano, Santa Clara, Alameda, Napa and Contra Costa counties. His passion for architecture, science, and community service solidified his desire to become a dentist, while his experiences volunteering for multiple free clinics and dental mission trips abroad have shaped him into the compassionate dentist he is today.
His dental journey started when he was a sophomore in high school, working on Saturdays and on holidays as a dental assistant. He continued this job part-time while being a full-time student at Dominican University of California. Graduating magna cum laude, he matriculated into dental school at Oregon Health & Science University right after where he honed his skills as a dentist. After graduating, Dr. Daniel returned home and worked at several offices in the bay area learning from great mentors. Prior to the pandemic, Dr. Daniel was volunteering at the Berkeley Free Clinic twice a month, where he provided dental care for those less fortunate. Dr. Daniel participates in study clubs and believes that learning doesnt end after graduating.
Dr. Daniels interests in design and architecture made this restoration project a challenging but rewarding experience. Built in the 60s, the office space was cluttered with unnecessary storage space which obstructed the natural lighting of the office. Wanting to create a more airy workplace and to capitalize on the midcentury modern charm to the office, Dr. Daniel decluttered the practice and furnished it with pieces that complemented this theme. His goal is to provide an environment that his patients and team felt safe and comfortable in.

I am almost 65 and Dr. Daniel and staff are the only ones that made me feel comfortable for the first time ever. I just moved away to Oregon and Dr. Daniel was the only one I will miss. He is kind and has an amazing gift to give shots very well .You can tell he really cares about your health and how his work looks and feels to you as a patient. I was so blessed to have had him as my Dentist Look no further Dr. Daniel is the one . :)

Dr. Daniel is the best! It was my first time at his office and I went in for a check up and subsequently a cavity filling. He was very thorough and made sure he didn't cause me any pain or discomfort. I was also in and out of the office very quickly which I appreciated. I will be coming back here for any future check ups, highly recommend!

I don't usually enjoy going to the dentist, but Dr. D's office is like going to get a nice cup of Boba on a hot day. The staff is extremely friendly and they're good at what they do. I've gotten a crown and a teeth cleaning and both procedures were painless. I'd recommend this office to anyone.

Always such a great experience. Netflix, Aesop - it's a very comfortable space. Dr. Daniel is great and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I recommend to anyone I know looking for a dentist. It's a bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it!

My overall experience was wonderful! Dr. Mabaet was very thorough and professional. I was extremely pleased with him and his staff and will continue to use his services moving forward. In addition, my husband will also start seeing him in May for dental services.

Dr. Daniel is patient, knowledgeable, & personable. His staff is also very nice & professional. Our family just moved to Northern California & we have had the same dentist for about 10 years so I was wary about choosing a new dentist. Dr. Daniel has been great & he knew I was anxious, but he really took his time and answered all of my (many) questions. :) Thank you, Dr. Daniel!

Dr Daniel is amazing! I recently needed some work done that required numbing, his novocaine injection was the least painful I've ever experienced. Generally novocaine really stings when it's first going in. It's also refreshing to have a dentist that is technologically savvy. He has state of the art equipment and treatment options available so you know you're receiving the best quality care.

WOW! I left my dental appointment feeling like I belong in a Colgate commercial!! Dr. Mabaet is so gentle and thorough. His kind, reassuring words throughout the x-ray and cleaning definitely eased my nerves. (background note: I have a really hard time at the dentist, my anxiety really escalates and have actually walked out on a few dental offices) In my appointment, we also talked about a few cosmetic dental procedures I want to get done. Dr. Mabaet is transparent in pricing and very reasonable. Out of the four quotes from other dental practices- I feel very confident recommending his office, as I trust the technique he talked me through and obviously know how gentle and meticulous he can perform. To find a dental office that goes above and beyond with all the sanitation and PPE compliance, in addition to having a super accommodating and proactive administrative team is truly a dream come true!

Dr. Daniel was incredibly thorough and gentle and both he and his staff are professional and personable. Their focus on both COVID safety and general cleanliness helped me feel super comfortable during my visit.
