Dr. Phillip Grossman grew up in the Sonora area.He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2002, and then completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington State. He served as a Captain in the United States Army for three years, providing dental care for the soldiers stationed at Fort Lewis, WA.

Upon completing his military service he and his family decided to move back to Tuolumne County, and he has been proud to be a part of Twain Harte Family Dental Care ever since.Dr. Grossman has volunteeredhis services asa dentist both locally andabroadin Mexico,Bangladesh, and Africa.Helooks forward to many more opportunities to provide dentistry in underserved areas.

Dr. Korando grew up in the small town of Florence on the coast of Oregon where his father practices dentistry. He attended Pacific Union College near Napa Valley, and also spent a year in Spain attending college where he became fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Korando graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2009, and then completed a two year residency in Dental Anesthesiology. He rotated between the County Hospital in Riverside, the Level 1 Trauma Center at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and the Dental Surgery Center at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He has provided anesthesia for dental and medical procedures of all kinds, including rotations in internal medicine and cardiology.

Dr. Korando practices both General Dentistry and is a Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist. He has worked with us at Twain Harte Family Dental Care since 2012providing generaldentistry and dental anesthesia for our patients that have dental anxiety and need sedation for dental treatment. We are excited to have such a well qualified dentist inTwain Harte to help serve our patients.

While in dental school, Dr. Korando was able to spend some of his time volunteering, both locally and abroad in Loreto, Mexico. He plans to continue volunteering both here in Tuolumne County and overseas to help those in underserved areas. Dr. Korando is excited tolive in the Sonora/Twain Harte area. Hetruly loves the outdoors and isgrateful to live in an area where hecan get out into nature and enjoy the many activities that Tuolumne County has to offer.

I love interacting with patients and helping them meet their dental goals through education, assisting the doctors, and just helping patients gettheir dental health back on track. I grew up in Tuolumne county and enjoy hanging out with my family and playing with myYorky and Australian Shepherd.

Getting to know our patients and their families, while helping each person improve their oral health, are the best parts of my job. Its always a great feeling to see someone Ive come to care about attain a healthier mouth as a result of the care we deliver. Im passionate about educating patients on the connection between oral health and overall body wellness, and how to keep their oral cavity in excellent shape between visits. I grew up in the area and love living and working in Twain Harte.

I look forward to meeting people who are new to our practice and starting to build relationships with them. I also look forward to return visits from established patients as those are chances to catch-up on whats been happening in their lives. My work day is patient focused, ensuring that each person gets the care they need. I am always available to answer questions, provide information, and see to it that everything goes smoothly. I grew up in the area andlove serving patientshere in Twain Harte.

Seeing a patient leave with a beautiful, clean smile, and knowing that Ive given them the tools and knowledge to keep their mouth healthy until their next visit, is wonderful. I enjoy knowing that the care I deliver helps with the individuals whole body health, not just their oral health, and that they are going to be better off as a result. In addition to providing patient education, I also perform tooth cleaning, scaling and root planing, and take X-rays. A Tuolumne County native, Im married and have a beautiful young son. On our time off, we love going to Pine Crest, and enjoy seeing live Giants games at AT&T Park.

I was born and raised in Tuolumne County and have been married for 21 years. I have two beautiful children and a large extended family. I mostly love living the simple life, enjoying the outdoors while jogging, hiking, skiing or camping with family and friends. I look forward to meeting our patients and being a part of providing them with a comforting dental experience.

Helping people get their mouths healthy, whether theyre a child, adult, or senior, is a great feeling. When someone has a healthy mouth, their body is healthier, they feel better about their appearance, and they smile more. I love being able to help people smile with confidence. I deliver one-to-one patient care, cleaning teeth and taking digital X-rays, and spend a lot of my time educating each person about homecare and how best to keep their mouth in great shape between their recall visits. As for my personal life, I have two grown sons and I love attending my Zumba class.

Its a pleasure to get to know our patients and their families, and establish long-lasting relationships with them. Here, we see and treat each person as the individual they are, creating customized treatment approaches based on their unique situation and oral health needs. I assist the doctors, making sureeach patient is well taken care and ensuring that everything runs smoothly so we can deliver the best care and treatment experience to each person.

Building relationships with our patients, talking and laughing with them, and being a positive part of each persons day, are all things I enjoy about my work. My day is filledgreeting patients, assisting the doctors, and helping patients acheive optimal dental health.I grew up in Tuolumne county andenjoy all it has to offer. When not at work you will find me spending my time with my son, skiing, snowboarding, hiking and camping.

My time is spent scheduling, handling patient charts,providing front office clerical support, and in general helping our patients facilitate their dental needs. Im proud to be a part of this caring and compassionate team of professionals, and enjoy seeing our patients leave with a great big smile. Outside the office I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and enjoying this beautiful area we live in.

I love working as a registered dental hygienist, promotinghealthy smiles and educatingpatients about their oral health. I enjoymaking patients smile and making sure their teeth are sparkling clean when they leave the office. Getting to know my patients and making them comfortable so they want to come back to the dentist is something I strive for.
