I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Associaton, and the Greater Houston District Dental Society. The FAGD stands for Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry which is attained by an examination and over 500 hoursof continuing education in dentisitry. I am an undergraduate of Baylor University and a doctoral graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch Houstonwhere I was in the top 10% of the class in OmicronKappaUpsilon,honor society.
I have found dentistry to be challenging and ever changing. Our practice has developed with newertechnology to use white fillings for all teeth, maintain sterilization protocol, use Arestin forgum treatment, enhanced cancer detection with VELscope (recommended by Dr. Oz, 2010), bleach teeth whiter, implant restoration, intraoral camera, vision loupes for precision,etc.
