Dr. Avendanio's patients appreciate his gentle touch dentistry that makes treatment as comfortable as possible. He has been in private practice for over 18 years in the Uptown/Turtle Creek neighborhoods and has been named to D Magazine's Best Dentist in Dallas multiple times. Dr. Avendanio takes great pride and integrity in how he treats his patients and staff.
He has been married to is wife Timberly for over 10 years. They have one daughter, Taylor, who attends Texas Wesleyan and plays golf for the Lady Rams. Dr. Avendanio is a life long runner and in his spare time enjoys watching his daughter play golf.
Dr. Avendanio was selected by his peers as an outstanding dentist in Texas and named to the Super Dentists list for the third consecutive year. Dr. Avendanio has also twice been named as a Best Dentist in Dallas by D Magazine.
Blanca has been a dental assistant with the Turtle Creek Dental Associates since 2011. She has over 20 years experience in the dental field. Her experience ranges from general and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, dentures and partials to orthodontics and Invisalign cases. She loves working with the staff whom she sees as her second family and enjoys seeing the smiles on our patients' faces knowing she took part in it. When not at work, Blanca enjoys the outdoors with her husband and 4 silly kids, whose craziness keeps her sane.
A country girl at heart, Carolyn enjoys time outside the city at home with her husband spending time on home improvement projects, cooking up dinner for friends, and taking care of her canines ---- 2 yr old Boxer 'Rocco' and 3 yr old Black mouth Cur/Bulldog mix 'Gauge'.
Carolyn has a passion for people and their dental health. She's cared for patients in DFW and Hamilton, TX, across the US facilitating our military's check-ups, and abroad serving the people of Jamaica and Nicaragua.
Melissa has enjoyed working in dentistry since 1999. She loves interacting with patients as they first walk into the practice. Additionally, she likes to build a trusting relationship with patients so that they maintain proper dental health.
Mayra is certified in sealant and coronal polishing, both of which are useful for her day to day! Her favorite part of working in dentistry is being able to make her patients smile. She enjoys comforting them and helping them to feel better in any way she can!

I've been going to Dr A for years and he's the only dentist I fully trust. His office staff has always been welcoming and makes theirs patients feel at ease. My partner and I drive over 50 miles to see them and hope to continue with them for years to come.

Update 3: We moved to Allen and my neighborhood dentist jammed his fingers around my mouth as if I was a horse and sprayed air all over my teeth to see if it would hurt. Nope. I'm back to Dr. Avandanio even if I have to drive an hour in traffic. Lesson learned again. 9 years a customer. Update 2: I chipped my crown again at 39 weeks pregnant on Mary's Gone Cracker. Ugh! They got me in and patched it up quickly and painlessly before baby's arrival. Dr. A is the best! He is an ethical good person. We have moved out of Dallas but I will probably continue to drive to Dallas because they are that awesome. Update: I chipped my 3 year old crown and they got me right in, made a repair, and 30 minutes later I was on my way. Excellent care and service. Dr. Avandanio is the best. He's very conservative in his treatment plan and always explains things well. Going to the dentist sucks but it's actually quite pleasant here. They really take good care of you.

This was my first visit as for many tears I had been seeing a friend who was a dentist who recently retired. I have never had a better experience. Every one I interacted with was friendly and professional. Dr Avendanio went over my xrays and explained what they showed in detail. It was a good report. The dental technician performed the best cleaning I ever had. I would recommend this dental clinic without reservation. You can be confident no unecessary procedures will be recommended and you will get the best of care.
