Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Worse Dental office. They will schedule app months out to then cancel when couple days Close to your app. They did that twise to me and my daughter. We have HMO and this was the office assigned to us unfortunately. We had to wait and switch to different location. They will not work with you. My daughter had pain for over 2 months I would call every other day for cancelations or whatnot as my daughter had severe pain but they did not care.

They did two root canals for me and have had nothing but problems with both teeth . Crowns Are not done right . They did not do root canals right! Having to go to different dentist to fix them and pay more money now. I have been back many times for them to check them and every time they make it worse .

I called this place to get my daughter seen here for her first apt. The receptionist asked for my daughters insurance ID # which I don't have...she is covered under her fathers insurance and he only provided his social #, name of insurance and name of his work place. I told her "I don't have the ID # but I have his social and workplace information". Her response was "I cant help you with out the Insurance ID #". ( Ive called many places for myself and they are always able to look it up by social or name.) I called a few other places and all of them were able to find her information with NO problem, all they needed was Insurance name and my daughters name. Right from the beginning they were not helpful at all, glad I found somewhere else!

Terrible service waited for over 20 minutes. When asked if I can make a payment for my father I was asked to wait for an additional 10-15 minutes. Service is terrible!!

The dr and assistant gossiped and talked about office drama during my whole procedure. I was addressed by the doctor maybe once the rest of the time she never spoke to me...including when the procedure was done. She just walked out and that was it. I wasnt given any after care instructions for after my procedure, or follow up instructions, nothing! I was given the anesthetic shot BEFORE the numbing ointment kicked in, so I felt each of the 5 injections given!!!! Squirming the whole time, she never once asked if I was ok or stopped to give me a breather, nothing! That only scratches the surface of my experience. If it wasnt for there literally being NO other options for that particular specialist in the area, I wouldn't have gone!!!!

Turlock Smiles staff have been so helpful right from the get go. It took me a while to find a good dentist and I landed perfectly on Turlock Smiles Dentistry. I have had painful experiences in the past. Dr. Prakash has changed how I feel during oral treatments. I've never experienced a painfree injection before Dr. Prakash. I don't know how he does it but the discomfort is almost nonexistent. He explains the procedures in detail and allows time to answer any questions lurking in mind. It's easy to feel confident with the guidance I received. He has a really helpful and comforting bedside manner. He's very skillful at taking care that the experience as painless as possible. There was no pressure to make decisions right away and the follow up and aftercare is a treat surprise. It's nice to know I am not just a paying number but someone to care about. You get a call to check on how you're doing after a procedure. You will get really helpful and good customer service at Turlock Smiles. It always receive a warm welcome each visit. Appointments are always started on time which makes it useful to schedule around work and other responsibilities. Thank you Turlock Smiles. I found the perfect dentist.

As a former dental assistant. I can say I never had a problem with this office. Staff has always been professional and clean. I took a break from coming because of Covid but from what I know, they're under new management. With that being said my new Dentist Dr Khorsand is excellent. He explained the procedure and estimated cost before treatment. Entire staff was nice and compassionate. Waiting time in waiting room was very short. Definitely will stay with this office.

Due to some pretty traumatic dental experiences as a child, I suffer from some pretty severe dental anxieties. Dr. Prakash has been amazing in helping me not only deal with my anxieties, but building a trusting relationship helping to reduce my stress and anxiety. He has explained step by step what to expect, the process in his treatment plan, and step by step what he is doing so I am not caught off guard. Thank you Dr. P!!!

Big shout out to my dental assistant Sofia. She was very kind and sweet, made me feel very comfortable after years of not going to the dentist. Dr. Prakash and Sofia make an amazing team and the overall place is very sanitary and the covid-19 precautions are taken very seriously. Would definitely recommend !

Had a great experience at Turlock smiles. The staff and dentists were amazing and so helpful. The office manager Sergio was great. Went above and beyond to help me get in and out as quickly as i could because i have a newborn. He was also so helpful with my insurance because i forgot it my insurance card at home. Rosario was the hygienist that did my cleaning. She explained everything and answered any questions i had. Truly amazing

STAY AWAY!!!! Dr was awesome but the office staff is not. They cannot get billing correct and always over charge. I wish there was a place to report them to.
