When not actively engaged in his work, Dr. Rice enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 boys and his daughter. Dr. Rice is committed to providing his guests the highest quality cosmetic dentistry available.
In 2009, Dr. Schellinck returned to the Central Valley to practice and he has made it his goal to provide the best quality care to his patients. Dr. Schellinck has the distinction of being a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and continues to stay abreast the most recent surgical techniques and technologies available to treat his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Schellinck enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Ashley Streeter. Together they enjoy spending time on the coast and in the Tahoe area. He also enjoys playing soccer, golf, tennis and snowboarding.

I broke a tooth on Tuesday and immediately called TFD..they got me in the very next day and even called me when an earlier time became available..everyone I encountered treated me with the utmost professionalism and friendliness..explained every step they were doing and were concerned with my welfare throughout the whole process..quick and efficient and accurate yet not rushed or sloppy..highly recommend Turlock Family Dentistry

They always say that the first impression, is a lasting one. My first impression of this office was summed up in one word: impressive. A clean and organized office, a friendly staff, a caring doctor who addresses all your concerns, makes an office where you know you will always want to go back. Everyone worked so well together and so organized, the entire office was filled with nothing but positive vibes and a high spirit, which are probably some of the most important elements in a dental office, it does make anyone feel so comfortable.

The technician was very friendly and professional. She explained the entire process and made time to answer any questions. (I had none since she was very thorough when explaining the process). I had a deep cleaning done and expected to have a high level of mouth pain once the numbness wore off. To my delight it is very mild. Great job. I highly recommend Turlock Family Dentistry. Dental office and staff are very helpful. Dr Amethyst explains things very well and you can understand what sort of procedures should be addressed immediately and what ones you have time to take care of the staff are helping and very knowledgeable and capable.

As a new patient in this office I noticed the front staff is friendly. The dentist who saw me was willing to move patient's appointments for later to accommodate my situation. The waiting area or lobby is big and open, also easy to get an appointment with this office.

We've recently relocated to Turlock and I had a hard time finding a Dentist willing to accept new patients and my dental insurance. We passed the building on Geer and was impressed with the parking and look of the building. When I called for 2 appointments together so both my husband and I could be seen, it was only a 3 week wait. I was offered same week appointments, but would be different days, so we waited. We were not disappointed. TFD has knowledgeable staff, great hygienists, personable Dentists and the office is clean and comfortable. We definitely give them 6 stars out of 5!!

This was our first visit to Turlock Family Dentistry. We were there for a check-up and cleaning. 5 star service. Everyone was super friendly and very competent. I have to say that my cleaning was superior! My teeth had not been cleaned that well in a long time. Best of all, no one tried to up-sell me services that I didn't need. It was also nice to see familiar faces from my old dental office. Thank you Kendra for the referral!
