Raised in Modesto, it was Dr. Miguel Padilla's dream to come back and serve the community. Dr. Padilla completed a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania along with a Public Health Degree. The combination of these two degrees helps Dr. Padilla practice a minimally invasive approach.
Prevention is Dr. Padilla's main treatment philosophy. As a pediatric dentist, he is able to help educate and navigate children and their families with their oral health. His goal is to reduce the caries load for his patients and make them advocates of good oral health. He strives to achieve this in a culturally competent manner to make families excited about visiting the dentist.

We finally found a dentist that is amazing. My daughter has always had an anxiety about the Dr's and dentist. Everyone here knows just how to make her comfortable. I came looking for a second opinion on what we were told would require extensive dental work that he found not to be the case and found a treatment plan that we felt totally comfortable with. It is a clean and very kid friendly environment. We are so happy to have found Dr Padilla. My little girls are just as happy as this momma to find such a good pediatric dentist!

our experience was a 10/10! I was told by another dentist that my son had to have multiple teeth extracted, but when I came here for a second opinion we agreed that there were other options that did not require those extreme measures. The dentist was so gently with my son and honest with me. I appreciate that. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend to anyone with children. Their office was also so clean and child friendly.

Outstanding pediatric dentistry! My daughters had extreme anxiety going to the dentist before. Now my 5year old asks when can we see Dr. Padia! My big kid was at the age of graduating out of pediatric dentistry (11). She went to an adult office twice while my younger daughter was still being seen at the kids world dental, Where we first met dr. Padia. He listened to how much pain and anxiety it gave her. So Dr Pedia invited her to see him at Turlock Children's dentistry and we will never leave! When another pediatric dentist told me I had to put my five year old under for a cavity fill. I immediately took her to Turlock children's dentistry. Our first visit was solely to rehabilitate her from her anxiety caused by her previous experience. She was curious about her x rays so dr. Padia let her walk to the computer as he explained to her what they were looking at. We left smiling and no more worries. She never knew she had her cavity filled either. Can't say enough good things about this place. I am a very grateful mom! Thank you Turlock children's dentistry!

We were told they took denti-cal and that our having another insurance as well wasn't an issue. Our son has an abscessed tooth. We made an appointment. Weeks go by before the appointment. They call 1 hour before to cancel it, saying they don't take his primary insurance, so they can't bill deni-cal. My son is in pain and at risk of jaw infection, and they strung us along for weeks, to then say they can't help us. Never go here.
