Dr. Turley is part of a 36 year Billings tradition of dental comfort & comprehensive care. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr Turley has dedicated his practice to providing the best that dentistry has to offer. Having practiced for 36 years, Dr. Turley is continually educating himself & his staff about the latest dental advances in order to offer state-of-the-art, personalized dental care.
Dr. Hirt joined Turley Dental Care in 2004. Originally from Billings, Dr. Hirt is proud to practice in his hometown. After graduating from Montana State University Billings, he attended dental school at Oregon Health Science University, where he earned his DMD. With an interest in dental implants & continuing education focused on surgery, he has been awarded a Fellowship to the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. To maximize comfort during advanced procedures, Dr. Hirt has been trained in IV sedation. In addition to learning techniques to deliver the highest quality dental care, Dr. Hirt has been very active in the Montana Dental Association. He has served as the Secretary/Treasurer, President-Elect & President of the Montana Dental Association. His dedication to dentistry & his patients has earned him a Fellowship to the International College of Dentists & the American College of Dentists, both organizations that recognize integrity, leadership & service. Dr. Hirt gives every patient a personalized & comfortable experience that makes them smile!
Dr. Colbert is from Laurel, Montana, & is excited to be practicing in Billings! She has a deep rooted interest in & passion for dentistry, beginning with getting braces at age eleven. She studied biology & chemistry at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, & continued her education at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, earning her DDS degree. Dr. Colberts hobbies include reading, watching movies, biking & playing games with family & friends.
Dr. Schwarzinger grew up outside of Billings in Huntley Project. He attended Montana State University, where he graduated with honors with a degree in cellular biology & neuroscience. Dr. Schwarzinger began his dental career at this very office, where he worked as sterilization tech before leaving to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating in 2017, Dr. Schwarzinger returned to Turley Dental Care to provide the same quality care he observed before his departure to Colorado. Dr. Schwarzinger enjoys giving his patients a positive experience & loves to see them smile. Dr. Schwarzinger enjoys staying physically active, including exercising, hiking, dancing & going on adventures with his wife & dogs.

Being a military spouse with Tricare, we had used Turley Dental for years. I was given a quote for some dental work with a co pay based on my insurance. I paid my copay in full & got my work done. Later I was hit with the full amount via a bill in the mail. About 2 grand on top of the 900 co pay. Apparently they were no longer under the Tricare umbrella & knew this when they gave me the quote based on what my insurance covered. They were super rude & said it's not our jobs to tell you if your insurance company has us under their umbrella. Not good business.

We have been incredibly happy with the services, but it seems as though they are more concerned about getting payment than caring for patients. We are a family of six, and frequently have pending balances between all of us. We have now been refused service because of a pending $600 balance even though we established a monthly payment plan to clean it up. Our insurance covers cleanings at 100% but we cannot be seen because of the old balance. Nobody in the family can be seen until the balance is zero. I get that it is a business, but we have paying...

these guys are always so nice and professional. I've been dealing with a chipped tooth for about a year, and it was starting to really hurt and throb. I call them and was able to get in the same day, have it evaluated and fixed the same day. Both the doctor and assistant were super nice and accommodating to my pain. thank you sooo so much!

We recently moved to this side of town and Turley Dental was our closest option less than a mile from our home so I made my first appointment. I had an amazing experience with the friendly front desk ladies and the awesome dental assistants & hygienists. Any questions or concerns I had were answered is great detail..having a lot of dental anxiety I really appreciated this. Shortly after my appointment my husband made his and also the same wonderful experience. Thanks for the awesome care Turley Dental!

I went for an emergent dental repair. They did repair the tooth, but unfortunately in less than 24 hrs it broke off again. When I returned to have it fixed again, I was asked to pay full price for the same type of procedure but without any guarantees. I guess in our times that makes for a good business model: to charge the patient for a sub-standard job with no guarantees, other than you will be billed again.

I've never had a problem here. They are always up front on the price, even if I can't make the payment they will work with me for a later date.

So on their website it states smartbraces can be as low as 99$ a month. I called and scheduled cleanings and told the lady my daughter needs braces. She said just come in and we'll talk about how much it will cost. No mention of no payment plans for orthodontics which I found out after I got there. I took the day off from work thinking my daughter would be getting braces, now she is very disappointed. I was not pulled aside and told, I was told in front of the lobby that they won't do payment plans and I had to say I couldn't afford it. Embarrassing and rude, would've been nice to have been told over the phone instead of wasting my time. I will not be coming back for myself or my kids dental needs.

Dr Hirt was amazing. However the other staff is rude and some should not be working with people. They tend to accuse someone with a loud voice of yelling continuously refuse to give messages when you have questions about treatment plans. Doesn't put detailed notes in a chart. They waste money on treatments that aren't necessary just to get more money. If the staff and supervisors were different it would be an amazing place to have dental work done.

Went into Turley Dental after around 2-3 years of pushing off dental work. Walked in, filled out some paperwork, and then got called back. I dont know why but female dentisits/ oral hygienist's make me more comfortable. I got some xrays done and a cleaning; needless to say these ladies know what they are doing. While I think three wonderful gals helped me out, I only remember Baileys name. She was great overall and she explained everything clearly. Would reccomend to any and everyone.
