Dr. Sarandev is very passionate about dentistry. He spends a lot of time researching and integrating new technologies, materials and services for its patients. In addition to Tupper Lake Family Dental, he is also the dentist/owner of AuSable Dental Center. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling to new places and experiencing new cultures; playing and watching sports. Dr Sarandev is married to Rosie who is also UB alumni and has many years of experience in Financial Risk Management. Currently she works as a Financial Officer for our practices in Tupper Lake and AuSable Forks. They have two daughters - Dominica and Kalina.
Dr. ONeill grew up in White River JCT, Vermont. He graduated from Hartford High School in White River JCT, Vermont. After completing his Dental Education, Dr. O'Neill had his own privite practice for ten years inHorseheads, NY. During this time, he alsoserved as President of the Chenango Dental Society and as a member of the District Peer Review Committee.In 2001 he sold his practice and moved North to work with the Public Health Service, where he was the Assistant Director of the Dental Clinic for the Akwesasne Mohawk Indian Reservation until 2003. He was a partner in High Peaks Dental, Lake Placid, NY for the last 12 years. Dr. O'Neill joined our team in February 2015.
Through his life Dr. ONeill has enjoyed many activities and adventures. His main hobbies are white water kayaking, skiing, ice fishing, biking, hiking and of course, flying his plane. He is well known for his work with animal rescue groups like Bridges to Safety andhis passion -- rescuing dogs. He flies dogs in needfor help from their current locationsto animal rescue workers in the Northeast. For the pasttwenty years he has enjoyed allthese adventures with a very special person in his life, Carolyn Wiggin. Carolyn is a land surveyor with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. In 2002 Doctor ONeill and Carolyn kayaked the Grand Canyon together.They moved to Lake Placid in theSummer of 2003.Currently, they live in Saranac Lake.

I don't like dentists in general, never have. But I will always go to Tupper Lake family dental! They are extremely nice and down to earth, I have never felt uncomfortable there. My insurance isn't accepted but the level of care j receive is worth paying out of pocket and that should say a lot! They always help me out when it comes to paying for x-rays. Very reasonably priced for a dentist office. Highly recommended for the entirety of the tri lakes of you're looking for a nice local dentist!

I avoided going to the dentist for the better part of a decade and it finally caught up with me, but Dr. O'Neill and his incredible staff have me on the road to excellent dental health. They are fantastic and make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience... Can't recommend them enough.

Best dentist I've ever been to and believe me I have been to many!!! He was professional, kind, gentle and he removed my tooth with no pain!!! Literally!!!! I found a new dentist!!! Thank you Tupper Lake Family Dental and Dr. DJ!!! You guys rock!!!!!

I have been a patient here for a few years, also a great experience. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, office is clean, and would totally recommend to anyone in the area! My son is also a patient here, and couldn't have asked for a more kid oriented dentist office! Plus Jill; the hygienist is super friendly and personable!

I love these guys !!!! I am always treated so well and it feels more like visiting friends than getting an exam. I have really sensitive Teeth and I am always treated with the upmost care. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are .

DJ has been my dentist for many, many years. His work is always just excellent and he is a kind, compassionate individual to boot. The staff is great too -- friendly and professional. I cannot speak highly enough of this dental practice.

I can only give this Dental Office the highest of praise. They are friendly, well staffed, highly trained, and simply put "people friendly"! They work hard with and for their patients. I was able to get in to see about a bad tooth in just a day when I had a problem. They are great to deal with and will work with you to make sure you get the best care for your money!
