Dr. Ferdinand R. Tungol received his bachelors degree in biology from UC Riverside and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry since 1992. As an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Sacramento District Dental Society,he remains apprised of the best dental practices and procedures to ensure that his patients receive top tier dental treatment.Dr. Tungol believes that your smile is your lasting impression, and he is dedicated to helping take care of your dental health. The dental office keeps Dr. Tungol busy, but he manages to find time to play golf during his spare time.
Jimmie received her associates degree in biology and dental hygiene from Sacramento City College and bachelors degree in public health care administration from CSU Sacramento. Jimmie is a member of the California Dental Hygienist Association and has been practicing dental hygiene since 2014. Since 2017, she has also been a part-time teacher for Sacramento City Colleges Dental Hygiene Program. Jimmie chose dental hygiene because she wanted a career that would improve peoples lives. With this in mind, Jimmie also volunteers locally and abroad providing free dental services and education to underserved populations around the world. In fact, pictures from her dental mission in Kenya, Africa and Amazon Basin, Peru were published in the Darby and Walsh Dental Hygiene Theory and Practice, fifth edition.
Debbie received her registered dental assisting certificate from Carrington College. She has worked as a registered dental assistant (RDA) since 2015. She believes dental offices should not be feared and strives to be as helpful as possible with patients and their needs. Nothing makes you feel more confident in life than having a great smile and this is why she felt the desire to choose a path in dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family and two dogs.
Jared is currently a student at University of Nevada, Reno, working towards his bachelor's degree in neuroscience. Jared has been a dental assistant since 2019. In his spare time, Jared enjoys golfing and skiing with his friends and family.
Rodina received her bachelors degree in business administration (with a focus in accounting) from UC Riverside. As the operations manager, she seeks to regularly improve performance and ensures that practices within the dental office remain efficient and effective. She has been with the practice since 2005 where she ensures patients have a positive experience as soon as they enter the office. In her spare time, Rodina enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and traveling to different places. Health and fitness are her passion, and she actively teaches group fitness classes to participants of all ages.
Heather has been working in the dental field since 1997. She received her dental assisting certificate from High Tech Institute and later shifted her focus to front office operations. She is passionate about dentistry because she believes that healthy smiles result in a healthy self. In her spare time, Heather enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Dr. Tungol is the best dentist I've had, and I've visited many in my 64 years, having lived in nine states and five countries. He takes great pride in the craft of dentistry, and he cares, above all else, for his patients' well being.

Money hungry and not professional at all. Made my migraines worse from having my jaw open so wide and for so long. When I told Dr. Tungol his response was must of been something you did. So glad I got away when I did. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I always feel so taken care of when I visit Dr. Tungol's office. All the staff are wonderful; so helpful and really thorough with their work. There office is immaculate and most importantly I feel so certain that my teeth are being taken care of. Dr. Tungol is so thorough with his work and I am so thankful to have a trustworthy dentist in my corner. Could not recommend this dentist office more!

My wife had a tooth that was hurting a lot and when we went to the endodontics office, they stated that it needs to be extracted. So we ended up going to Dr.Tungol who was able to see her the next day. Dr. Tungol did an excellent job, so we couldn't be happier. We are definitely coming back next time when we need any tooth related care. Thank you Dr. Tungol!

Dr.Tungol is super caring and careful in all the steps he takes when he's operating on your teeth! I have been going to him on and off for about 3 years. He's done root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, cleanings, and other things like taken out a broken tooth I had. I wouldn't want to have to look for another dentist and I'm glad I don't have to! This guy and his facility is highly recommended for any teeth needs!

My kids and I have been coming here since 1998. The best dentist ever. They always make sure I'm comfortable. They explain everything they are doing and why, keeping me always informed. Professional, courteous, and friendly staff which always make us feel like family. I highly recommend MY dentist!!!

I've been going to Dr. Tungol for about 15 years. Best dentist I've ever had. Don't like needles? Painless novacaine injections. He's very detailed in his description of what's going on and what he is doing. Staff are great too!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Tungol since 2010 and he is hands down the BEST dentist I have ever been to. Even though I have spent most of the last 7 years out of state, I still come to him when I need cleanings because I just do not trust other dentists with my teeth like I do with Dr. Tungol. Him and his staff (Heather, Dana, Angela and others) are all incredible at what they do to say the absolute least. I could not recommend this office more.

Hands down the best dentist and staff! I'm severely claustrophobic and have a lot of anxiety, especially around going to the dentist, but Dr. Tungol and his staff make it as painless as possible. Everyone is kind, amazing at their jobs, and you walk away feeling like you've been taken care of. I highly recommend this dentist and his staff to anyone who might be considering getting a new dentist. My whole family, a couple of coworkers, and several of my neighbors use this office, and we're all more than pleased. I'll say it one last time... this place is the best!!

Dr Tungol is a great dentist and his staff is wonderful. I am, in general, not a big fan of going to the dentist (sensitive teeth, anxiety, etc) but Dr Tungol and his staff make it a bit easier for someone like me, it is much appreciated.

I've been going here for years and cannot imagine going anywhere else! I used to have anxiety seeing dentists and needed the nitrous to calm me down. Within a few visits with Dr. Tungol I stopped needing it. He is so pleasant and kind, never gives you guilt trips (other dentists have), is gentle and works with you. He also checks in with you the following day after you've had work done to see how you're doing. And his entire staff is incredible!! I've never had a problem there, and I work in dental insurance so I know the struggles that can occur. Let's face it, no one likes going to the dentist but I love Dr. Tungol and his staff. I always recommend him when I hear people are looking for a dentist.

I became Dr. Tungol's patient over 2 years ago and since then I've always had great experiences! He always takes care of all my teeth problems, and i'm always satisfied with the result! And they have the nicest people working there. They make it feel like we are all a big family:) I really recommend this place! They're trustworthy.
