Dr. Hanna attended dental school at Howard University College of Dentistry in D.C. Afterwards, she completed a one-year general practice residency in sedation and oral surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Since completing her training in 2010, Dr. Hanna has honed her skills in the art and science of dentistry to provide you and your family the best care.
Dr. Mariam Hanna and her husband Dr. Nicholas Hanna joined the Tulsa community in 2015. They were originally brought here after her husband accepted a position at St. John Clinic as a cardiologist, and they have loved it ever since. After living far and wide from Washington, DC to New Orleans and San Diego, they have discovered that Tulsans are by far the friendliest people they have ever met.

Since completing her training in 2010, Dr. Hanna has honed her skills in the art and science of dentistry across many disciplines and several different practice models. Her extra residency training afforded her the honor of working with some of the most skilled oral surgeons in the country.
Dr. Hanna firmly believes in patient-centered care and a team approach to ensure excellent outcomes for her patients. During her time in Tulsa, she has already forged relationships with some of the best specialists in town. Her patients can rest assured that whether they are in her office or need to be referred to a specialist, they are always in the most skilled of hands.

Tulsa modern dental was perfect! I went in today for my first cleaning and they were professional, fun, and very knowledgeable. So thankful for this new dentist after a really bad previous experience. And love that they are all women!

At the time when I went to Tulsa Modern Dental I was truly so anxious about dental visits that I would skip dental visits and even cleanings yearly; combined with Covid panedemic, I desperately needed to get on top of my dental health. But my anxiety to see a dentist was something I had to work on. Through multiple visits and treatments I have overcome my fears with their help. They were so patient, helped me with coping strategies during procedures, have used technology to help in anxiety in the chair, & of course Gracie sure gave her support! Dr. Hanna and her team have managed to teach me ways of managing my anxiety outside of the dental work that helped me personally inside and out! I'm happy to say that today, my teeth are in great health and I'm no longer anxious to go in for cleanings or procedures. I've gotten so comfortable now, that I decided to do cosmetic Botox! Truly with Dr. Hanna's help, I've blossomed as a person, and even accomplished growth in my dental anxiety. My smile makes me confident now and I'm happy to show it off! Thank you Dr. Hanna and Toni and team. You guys are the BEST!

If I could give eleventy million stars, I would. I'd been seeing the same dentist my whole life, so I was very nervous to make a change. Turns out I needed one! The hygienist, Toni, made this anxious patient feel so comfortable. And that was hands down the best cleaning I've had in yearrrs. Dr. Hanna was so kind and friendly. I feel like my teeth have a new lease on life in their care. I could not be happier.

My family and I LOVE Dr. Hanna and Toni! We've been going to her for 5 years now and her care for not only her staff but all her patients is excellent. I have huge anxiety fears with dentist and dental work- and they always do a great job of alleviating those fears. I've referred multiple friends to her and will continue to!

Staff was nice but I felt my cleanings with them we're rushed. My teeth didn't feel clean. Had bad breath when I left. Mouth just didn't feel clean. I won't be going back
