Dr. Tull attended Southern Adventist University located in Collegedale, Tn from 1988-1991, where he received a bachelor of science degree in medical science. He was accepted to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and graduated in 1995 with high honors and was recognized as one of the top 5 graduates based on his clinical performance. Dr. Tull proudly served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy from 1995-1998. He was accepted into a General Practice Residency Program at Great Lakes Naval Hospital near Chicago, Illinois, where he trained under a specialist in each of the major specialties in the field of dentistry such as oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics. Because of his hard work and high praises during each of his rotations, Dr. Tull was ranked #1 of the graduating residents. After completion of his residency, he was selected to be the dentist for the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Naval Hospital in Guam from 1996-1998. While there he received several medals from the U.S. Navy including the Humanitarian Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement medal for outstanding work in the field of dentistry. In 1998, Dr. Tull moved back to the southeast where he began fulfilling his dream of having his own dental practice tailored to families and cosmetic dentistry. He has created a practice in Dalton, Georgia, that is known for its personalized care with a friendly and caring staff. He is well know in the community and was recently voted the Best Dentist in Northwest Georgia.
Dr. Tull is passionate about dentistry and providing a pleasant and professional experience for his patients, however, his love of dentistry is nothing like the love he has for his Heavenly Father and his family. He has been married to his wife Danette since 1992 and he has 3 wonderful children. Brady, Casey and Kaylas' activities in sports and music are what Dr. Tull and Danettes' world revolves around. Dr. Tull enjoys watching and playing most all sports, but his main passion in sports is golf. He enjoys talking about sports with his patients, especially with golfers, Braves fans, and Dallas Cowboys fans. Although he graduated from the Univerisity of Tennessee College of Dentistry, he does pull for the Dawgs over the Vols.
Crystal has been married to Jason (Jay) Gann since 2002 and has three children Brody, Brylee, and Broc. She graduated from Chattanooga State Dental Hygiene program in 1999 and has been working for Dr. Tull since 1999.
Kim is married to David Jones. She has 4 children. Two boys, Justin and Austin, a daughter Kayla and stepdaughter Destin. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her family. She has been working for Dr. Tull since 2006.
Jessica is a certified dental assistant with expanded duties. She graduated from Georgia Northwestern in 2014 and has been with Dr. Tull since her internship. She is married to Josh and has two children, Naudia and Gage. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Jenny is married to Paul Womac, Jr and has three children. Koby, Kyleigh, and Kamden. She graduated from Floyd College in Rome in 2005. She has been working with Dr. Tull as a dental hygienist since 2005. Her greatest happiness is her family.
Michelle Ray is married to Joshua Ray. They have two children, Layla and Lillian. She enjoys helping with her church youth group and camping with her family. She began working for Dr. Tull in February 2019.
I Graduated from Georgia Northwestern Technical College in 2013 as a certified dental assistant with expanded duties. I have worked as a dental assistant for seven years and I am excited to be a part of Dr. Tulls practice. I have been a part of teaching a dental assisting program for the past year. I have no children but I am a mom to multiple dogs! I love spending time with my boyfriend Christopher and working on craft projects together. My favorite part of dentistry is building trust and a connection with patients, but on the clinical side, I enjoy making my patients comfortable and confident to smile again!

I have always been treated like a person with Dr. Tull and he understands folks with dental anxiety. Sure, there are other dentists out there but there is only one Dr. Tull. Best dentist in Dalton, hands down!

Firstly, I have EXTREME dental anxiety and have uncontrollable panic attacks in dental chairs due to "trauma" from a previous surgery. I'm a new patient, new to the area, and had to change dentists for the first time in 18 years so when calling to make my appointment, I mentioned this ahead of time. Dr. Tull and his staff were incredibly understanding, beyond nice, and extremely accommodating to my situation and I am so glad I found them. I cannot express how highly I would recommend them to anyone who has similar anxieties.
