I have been in the dental field for over 30 years. I started out as an dental assistant in San Antonio, Texas and then worked front and back office in Austin, Texas before moving to Tucson 3 years ago for a more laid back lifestyle.I enjoy camping, spending time with family and friends & Nascar.I love being part of a great team, here at Tucson Premier Smiles.
Welcome to Tucson Premier Smiles and I look forward to taking care of you for your dental hygiene needs. I am a 2nd generation Tucson Native who absolututely loves the desert. I find the that the most rewarding part of my career is helping to make people smile.
I graduated with honors from pima community college dental hygiene program in 2007 as student body president. I then went on to NAU for completion of my Bachellors degree. I was vice -president for 1 year and President for 2 years for our local dental hygiene assosiation following graduation.. I have been practicing clinical dental hygiene for 13 years while taking on multiple roles in he field and I am still in love with my profession. In my spare time i enjoy spending time at my property in Colorado, going to the lake and snowboarding. I also restore old cars as a hobby that I enjoy.
I was born and raised in the small town of Golden, CO. I graduated from Red Rocks community college as a Dental Assistant in 2005. My family and I have been in Tucson for 8 years now, and absolutely love it! As a Dental Assistant, I find one of the most rewarding outcomes is helping create a healthy, beautiful smile. After all.. A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.
I am grateful to work for a Doctor who demonstrates kindness and compassion, not only with her patient but her team as well.I feel we have a great team that works well together , all striving for patient care being top priority. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing in my flower garden, watching my son play baseball, walking our 2 yr. old lab and listening to music. As a family we do lots of camping, hiking, and backyard BBQ's with family and friends.
I am a Colorado native who has called Tucson home for the past 5 years. I graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a certified Dental Assistant in 2006, which has been a very rewarding career. I strive to make patients feel comfortable and at ease. My goal in my profession is to achieve all the needs of my patients and helping them feel proud of their smile. My passions include spending quality time with my 4 year old daughter, painting, the outdoors which include hiking, camping, being at the lake, and being a part of an amazing team here at Tucson Premier Smiles.

Wonderful dentist office. I broke a temporary crown they got me in the same day clean my teeth set the new crown and did x-rays did everything. They are so gentle and so kind from the front office to the back of the office. Highly recommend this dentist. I've always been afraid to go to the dentist because I've always gotten hurt and I let them know of my fear and they were very kind and helping me deal with it and we're not condescending at all. I highly recommend it from the smallest member your family to the largest mend your family excellent if I could give them 100 stars I would !

I've be going to kim for several years. Always great service. Had a partial that cracked they got me in the next day in the morning. I got the partial back that afternoon. recommend... THANK YOU TUCSON PREMIER SMILES

this dental office and staff are the best group of people I have ever been to for dental work! Dr. Paukune cares about how you look and feel,takes care of everything concerning oral health. Fantastic office and assistants!! cannot thank them enough

everyone there is very thoughtful and accommodating. Melissa explained in detail everything she was going to do before she did it. The doctor was extremely fast in the procedure which I liked since my jaw gets extremely sore. Best part was called less than 1 week that my permanent tooth was ready. Definitely a 5 star.

I've never had an unpleasant experience at this office, and I've been with them for years. The entire staff is kind, professional and highly competent. Dr. Paukune is a wonderful dentist and a wonderful human!

I'm very happy using Tucson Premier Smiles as my dentist. Dr Paukune is very knowledgable and great at addressing my needs. My favorite part of the practice is the Kathy, the receptionist. She's always warm, helpful, and great at working with our unpredictable schedules.

Dr Kim Paukune is the only dentist I have gone to for almost 20 years. She does everything right the first time and has never caused me any pain. I would not even consider switching dentists as long as I live in So Arizona.
