An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

The extractions went very smoothly. Thank you. However, the dentist failed to put in a prescription for pain medication as she had said she would. The office was closed soon after I left and the voicemail options left me on hold for 25 minutes three times until I finally hung up. Really unfortunate.

I've been with Tualatin Modern Dentist for over 5 years. Found them moving to Lake Oswego in 2017 and even though I'm living in Canby, I didn't change places. The staff is amazing! I love the service! Love you guys!

Preface - I hate going to the dentist. The only thing worse than going to the dentist? Not going to the dentist. This was my first time at Tualatin Modern Dentistry, and they are hands-down the best practice I have ever been to. Krista and her staff made an arduous task into a positive experience with their patience and expertise. I was embarrassed about the state of my teeth, but they made me feel reassured without judgment or condescension! They explained everything thoroughly - which tooth took priority, going over the process, options to help my physical discomfort, and the payment plan which best fitted my budget. I hope to be a patient with them for years to come, and would definitely recommend them.

This place is one of the worst places my husband and I have ever experienced! Definitely don't recommend. The doctor had no idea what he was talking about half the time. My husband gets 4 teeth pulled at once spends from 10am to 130 pm and couldn't even get him numb pulls one of the wrong teeth and then doesn't even subscribe him anything!!! this place is a joke!!
