Here at our Tualatin dental office, patients rely on Dr. Emerson Rowley to deliver the very best in dental health care. A genuinely compassionate dentist, Dr. Rowleys personal and professional philosophies are one and the same: Care for others as you would like to be cared for. Dr. Rowley does just this every day.
A native of Oregon, Dr. Rowley pursued his undergraduate studies in biology, behavioral science, and health at Idahos Ricks College and the University of Utah. His interest in oral health lead him to dental school, and by 2007, Dr. Rowley earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) when he graduated from Case Western University of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Since graduating, Dr. Rowley continues to pursue his passion for dentistry by participating in ongoing educational studies and seminars. He is currently professionally involved with the 49th Parallel Study Club for Implant Placement, the Spears Study Club, and the International Team for Implantology.
Dr. Rowley maintains membership in the widely recognized American Dental Association. Additionally, because he is a practicing dentist in Tualatin, Oregon, he also a part of the Oregon Dental Association and the Washington County Dental Society.
Dr. Rowley believes that everyone should have access to a healthy, brilliant smile and has a history of providing dental care to the underprivileged living in areas without access to proper dental care. Not only did he provide care in a community health center while living in Arizona, but he has also made multiple trips beyond domestic borders into the Dominican Republic, where he offered dental assistance to people living in remote areas of the country. Dr. Rowley has also volunteered with the Boy Scouts and sponsored sports teams and charitable organizations in our local community.
Years ago, Dr. Rowley returned to his beloved Northwest to provide patient dental services in Tualatin and the surrounding areas. When hes not working, he and his wife, Erin, enjoy spending time with their children.
Born and raised in Japan, Hiromi graduated from university and earned her dental hygiene degree before coming to the United States in 1992. In Colorado, she earned another degree in dental hygiene and worked in a busy periodontal specialty practice. In 2003, Hiromi moved to Portland and has been with Tualatin Family & Cosmetic Dentistry since. 'I enjoy the personal contact and getting to know my patients as well as caring for them. I love to hike in the Colombia Gorge during the summer and attend Portland Theater in the winter.'
Kyle started his career in dentistry as a Dental Assistant in the US Navy. He continued on through Dental Lab Tech training, and then received his undergrad degree in Dental Hygiene. While practicing as a clinician, he went through a graduate program to earn his Masters of Healthcare Administration. He's used his experience and education at large organization like Providence and Willamette Dental, but is excited to be able to bring them to the private practice side of dentistry.
Samantha started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant. She learned the intricacies of dentistry as a clinician and can speak to pretty much anything that can be done in dentistry. She has even worked as an orthodontic assistant, so straightening teeth is definitely a passion of her. We love her because she keeps patients aware of their treatment needs and helps keep the team flowing like a championship swim team!
Jordyn grew up in the McMinnville area and has a bubbly and positive personality which is contagious throughout the clinic. She's spent a handful of years honing her skills in public health, pediatric dentistry, and family dentistry.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. Kyle has done two of my cleanings and both left me with what felt like brand new teeth! The doctor was very gentle and listened to my anxieties and reassured me he would take care of it. My dental work went with ease and professionalism and I am so glad I chose this practice for my dental needs! I can't wait for my next cleaning! Thank you!

It was my first appointment. The young lady in front was so friendly. She knew who I was and called me by my nickname which was great. The young man who did my x-rays was so kind and gentle. He asked about my dental routine and gave me a few tips which I really appreciated. The doctor was just as kind and friendly. I actually can say, I feel like I will be in very competent hands anytime I go there.

Great staff and service!! Really friendly and they will do what's within their hands to accommodate you the best. They also really care about you understanding every detail of the procedure including pros and cons or the consequences of not taking care of it. Really recommend it!

Dr. Rowley is the best Dentist ever!!! He and his staff are very professional, caring, warm and at no time do you feel rushed. Everything is explained very clearly so you understand completely what is going on. Would recommend them to everyone!

Office was on time with appointments. Much appreciated, since some medical offices keep patients lined up and waiting. Hygienist was very thorough and explained procedures and her observations as she went along. Appreciated that. Doctor was thorough in his followup exam. Last time I saw him he detected a spot on my tongue that turned out to be cancer. Luckily he found it early and all is well now after a Nov 2019 surgery. I recommend this dental practice to others.

Everyone was very friendly and made me feel heard, validated, and comfortable. I did not receive clear instructions for visitor policy and checking in process and as a new patient I was expecting a more detailed explanation regarding that. Other than that trivial thing it was a great experience and am happy to be a patient there.

I have been going here for years and have had only good experiences. The dental assistants are very nice and the dentist is always willing to explain things.
