Dr. Tso believes in continually improving himself and stays up-to-date on the best treatment methods. Dentistry is advancing rapidly with new technology constantly available. He has been at the forefront in dental implant restoration since he was a resident in prosthodontics at UCLA in the late 1980's and has actively taught new residents in restoring implants, treating maxillofacial defects, and advanced aesthetics ever since.
Dr. Tso has been an assistant professor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry as well as the Loma School of Dentistry and was the maxillofacial and implant prosthodontic staff consultant to the USC Medical Center, King/Drew Medical Center, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and the craniofacial team at Orthopedic Hospital. He is currently still teaching hospital and prosthodontic dentistry at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Tso's passion is helping patients and treating them like family. He takes time to explain all treatment options to his patients and gives his honest opinion on longevity and expectations. If no treatment is necessary, Dr. Tso is more than happy to say so, saving both himself and his patients time and money. Dr. Tso has been practicing maxillofacial prosthodontic dentistry since 1989 and he has been at his current location in South Pasadena since 1994. He is an expert in all phases of restorative dentistry and maintains a stellar reputation. He has been voted in the first annual 2014 Southern California Super Dentists list by his peers and Los Angeles Magazine ever since. Dr. Tso has also been included in America's Top Dentists every year since 2013, in America's Best Dentists in 2017, and by Super Dentists annually since 2015.
Dr. Tso's interests include photography, cycling, old cars, cooking (especially barbecuing), growing orchids, and everything related with raising a family. He and his wife Rebecca are proud parents of three sons and a daughter.
