Dr. Peter Kim grew up in South Pasadena, California. He received his doctorate degree from New York University in 2002. He focused his undergraduate studies in biology. Dr. Kim also looks to continue his education at every opportunity possible when new technology is available so as to improve the quality of service he provides. Dr. Kim is also fluent in both Korean and Spanish.
Along with advanced educational programs, he has extensive training in implant dentistry. He continually strives to treat every patient with courtesy, respect, and the highest quality of treatment. When outside of the office, Dr. Kim enjoys playing golf and doing watersports. He also loves spending time with his wife and son. Dr. Kim teaches Youth Group at his local church on Sundays and attends church-organized medical missions in other countries to serve locals with caring dental care.

bad service with front desk lady & the lady who took my X-rays. I felt disrespected & ignored, so I didn't continue my business with them anymore, I changed to a great dentist where I feel comfortable (:

I was referred here from a friend years ago and love this dentist and the staff. I never wait long, they always get me in if I need something urgently and everyone is welcoming and professional. I highly recommend Truxton Family Dentistry.

Dr. Kim and staff are just amazing and go above and beyond!! I have had a fear of the dentists since a bad experience when I was a little girl. And I'm not going to lie I still get anxious and nervous as an adult now but Dr. Kim and his staff made me feel at ease! No one likes shots but getting them by Dr. Kim is a piece of cake! I couldnt even feel the initial poke!! The assistants and hygienists are super friendly and easy to talk to which is nice because it keeps my mind off of what's going on! I recently broke my top front crown when I was 2 1/2 hours away on a day trip and called them right away. They closed at 5pm and they were kind enough to wait for me and work me in after hours to help me with my broken crown. This will be my second crown with them and I know it will be perfect just like the last one I had gotten done! Thank you Dr. Kim and staff for all that you do and your amazing service! I really appreciate you all!!

It's a challenge to find a dentist that is gentle, kind, skilled. Dr. Peter Kym injected the pain medication in a manner that a person couldn't really know that he had done so except that the numbing worked great. Good communication. Quality filling. After numbing was out of my system, I "forgot" that I'd been at dentist. Didn't require 3 months advance notice to get an appointment. I recommend..
