Finally made myself get into the dentist after a multi-year, anxiety induced delay. Thankfully, I was not suffering any pain or issues - though that may have gotten me back to the dentist sooner. In searching for a new dentist, I found Dr. Truvan and TruSmiles and was encouraged by all the positive reviews so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'll need to go back soon to have some cavities filled, but I'm not dreading it at all. Dr. Truvan, his dental assistant Rosie, and the front-desk staff were all friendly and welcoming. Rosie took my X-rays, while Dr. Truvan did all the exam and cleaning work, with Rosie's assistance. Dr. Truvan and his team explained everything clearly and took care of me without judgment.

Dr. Truvan had recently filled two cavities in my bottom right teeth. My experience with the process was fantastic! He comforted me throughout the most terrifying part of the procedure, the NUMBING. It was quick and painless, as he was very gentle with the tools, assuring me that everything was fine. Furthermore, he walked me through each step, making me feel at ease. Overall, the procedure went extremely well, and he did an excellent job. I highly recommend Dr. Truman for your dental needs.

As always over the past 30 years Dr. Truvan and his staff delivers! They know what they are doing and they make you feel like family! I would never go anywhere else for myself or my kids.

I have been a client of TruSmiles for the last 5 years, we have recently relocated to Annapolis, and I was tempted to do the drive just to stay with the same Dentist. Everyone at this business has been absolutely fantastic to work with, there have been zero issues with scheduling, promptness, pleasantness or anything else. I WISH other businesses were half as good as this one. If you are looking for a great dentist and service that wont complicate your life, I would highly recommend this one.

Dr. Truvan and his team are absolutely fantastic. I have been a patient here for over five years and have never had a bad experience. The office is pleasant, the staff is all great, and I have recommended them to many of my friends over the years.

Dr. Truvan and the TruSmiles team provide a pleasant experience from the moment you walk through the door. They are incredibly personable, flexible and skilled. Dr. Truvan 's clinical expertise is evident as he considers treatment options and encourages informed choices. He takes the time to talk you through every move that he makes and provides calm during each procedure no matter how daunting. Dr. Truvan is by far the best dentist that I have ever come across. I have no hesitation recommending TruSmiles Dental to anyone who desires a truly patient centered dental experience

I am very pleased with Dr. Truvan. I have had plenty of dental work done for the past 2 years. He always took the time, very calm makes me feel very comfortable getting the work done. Never have any issues. The staff are very pleasant too. Mary at the front desk is amazing!

My comment to Dr.Truvan was, "I have not had many dentists, but from what I have had, you are the best dentist I have had". I don't feel uncomfortable getting the dental work done here. The staff and assistants are also pleasant and friendly. Thank you for the work you are doing!

This place continues to send me a bill for nearly $200 related to a procedure (some kind of extra cleaning) they were not forthright about during my visit. If I had known it would result in a $200 charge, I would have passed. Further, I had two procedures scheduled on a visit, and they said they only had time for one. This place is just about $ and will also jerk you around. Stay away. Dr. Truvan is actually great, but the way this company conducts business is suspect.

My husband and I have been with Dr Truvan at TruSmile Dental for almost ten years. We are so happy to have Dr. Truvan! We have been with many dentists in Northern Virginia area in the past 30 years. Dr. Truvan is one of the best. He cares his patients very much and always tries his best for better solutions for his patients. He himself is perfectionist and has high standard to his works. We have had a lot of dental work done at TruSmiles. For everything Dr. Truvan did for us, including fillings, fixtures, crowns, tooth plant, etc, he always made his work perfect, made it look good and have patients feel good. His hygienist, Reta, is also excellent! All her work is carefully done and complete. Her dental cleaning work is thorough and professional. We love TruSmiles, all the staff there, and would highly recommend TruSmiles if you are looking for a dentist.
