Born and raised as a third generation Redding resident Doctor Maurice Trusas could not imagine practicing and raising his family anywhere else. After completing his education Maurice returned home to once again enjoy everything the north state has to offer. As a husband and father of three, camping trips, visits to Turtle Bay, having date nights with his wife and making dinner on his Trager are some of his favorite activities. He also loves getting up before the sun rises and throwing his favorite lures on local lakes and rivers in the pursuit of that next big bite.
Maurices passion for dentistry started at an early age and was in full swing by high school as he attended Shasta High School. He would spend many afternoons shadowing and working at local dental offices. His education included completing an A.A. at Shasta College, B.S. from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Biological Sciences, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from UOP San Francisco in 2006.Even though he has been in full time practice since 2006 Maurice still continues his love of learning always taking several continuing education courses and staying on top of the latest technological trends.
Tammy is a Redding native and has worked in dental since 1999. She is happy to be a part of an office that helps patients overcome fears and loves to see them leave happy, with a sparkling smile on their face. Its exciting and fulfilling to schedule treatment that a patient has been afraid or nervous to tackle because she knows they will be treated gently and with great care. Tammy has a son, daughter and two grandchildren she adores. She loves time with friends and family, any craft project, biking, paddle boarding, and running. She set a goal of running a half marathon and we are proud of her for accomplishing the goal.
Yolanda has been in the dental field as a dental assistant since 1993 and has completed additional training to acquire her expanded functions certificate. Yolanda is passionate about dentistry and feels rewarded by helping people have confidence in their smile. When Yolanda is not in the dental office, she enjoys the outdoors, gardening, biking, camping and beekeeping.
Hayley is our dental hygienist and has been with the practice since 1994. She started her dental career in 1983, and loves her job! She enjoys connecting with patients, making them comfortable, and watching them leave with a sparkly clean smile. Our patients LOVE visiting with Hayley while getting their teeth cleaned. Hayley has been married to her husband Wes for over 20 years and they have three children that they have raised together. They recently welcomed their first granddaughter and enjoyed visiting her in New Zealand. When Hayley isnt cleaning teeth, she enjoys staying active, spending time with family, restoring old furniture and shopping.
Mandy is a dental hygienist. She has been in the dental field since 1997, and finds her job so rewarding. When a patient is fearful or apprehensive about coming to the dentist, Mandy can be found calming their nerves and gently approaching the treatment plan so the patient feels safe, welcome, and ready to tackle what needs to be done! She is a proud wife and mom to her two daughters and her son. Mandy holds a position on multiple boards in our community and is the current Board President of Girls Inc. of the Northern California Valley. When she is not at work or volunteering, she loves to spend time with her friends and family, traveling and loves to make people feel special by throwing birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers or any kind of party or event.
