Dr. Tristan Hensley was born in raised in Melbourne, FL and is a second generation, native Floridian. He went on to attend the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Science and also received a minor in Bassoon Music Performance. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Hensley became a double Gator and graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Dr. Hensley enjoys teaching dentistry and is a part time clinical faculty member at the Lake Erie College Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine. He remains active in the Seattle Dental Study Club, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Deborah is a native Floridian, and has lived in the Pasco County area her entire life. She graduated with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Pasco Hernando State College and she has over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant prior to returning to school to become a Dental Hygienist.
She is dedicated to her patients and her profession and enjoys taking continuing education courses to make sure that she is providing the best care possible to all of her patients. She is very blessed and grateful to be working with such amazing patients.
She is married with 2 awesome sons, one wonderful daughter-in-law and a very special grandson. Deb enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as traveling. She is also best known for her love of napping.
Denise has been in the dental field for over 37 years. She has been working in this office with this incredible team for almost 21 years! She has developed strong relationships with her patients and her goal with each patient is to make them feel at ease by building trust and confidence in the care that she is providing. She strives each day to make sure each patient feels 100% informed and comfortable.
Michelle has been in the dental field for over eight years. She is very passionate about dentistry. She takes the time to get to know her patients and make them feel comfortable. Her goal is to have each and every patient walk out smiling!
Michelle was born and raised in Pasco County, Florida. Michelle grew up playing competitive softball and had a full ride scholarship to Hillsborough State College and her first homerun in college was a grand slam! Michelle has been married to her husband for over 13 years, they have a wonderful son named Wesley as well as two cats. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, quilting, crafting with her Cruicut, hiking, and traveling to the mountains. But her favorite thing to do is to hang out on the boat fishing with her husband and son.
Judi joined our team with over 20 years experience in business administration and customer service. She has worked in the dental field for six years and is dedicated to helping patients with every step of their dental visit. Judis favorite thing about working in this industry is the interaction with patients and ensuring their dental needs not only meets, but exceeds their expectations. Outside of work, Judi is baking customized small cakes for the special occasions in ordinary life!
Kelly has been in the dental field as an EFDA (Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions) for 10 years. Her top priority is making sure patients feel comfortable and assisting the doctor. She loves not only getting to know her patients but making sure they walk out with a smile. Kelly and her husband, Ricky, have two boys and a dog. She is Puerto Rican and speaks fluent Spanish. Outside of the dental field, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on food ventures, and traveling.

Wow! I am amazed each time I go to TRUE Smiles. The staff is so attentive and friendly. Dr. Tristan's work, for me, nothing short of a miracle, is TRUE dental artistry. The office is so tastefully decorated and welcoming and the equipment is so modern. I'm blessed to be having an extreme makeover of my smile and the experience has been so smooth and not "scary". I'm not even finished with my makeover yet and my smile looks so beautiful and TRUE! I now know why the name TRUESMILES DENTAL STUDIO. I'm so so excited to see Dr. Tristan's final masterpiece and thankful it's MY TRUE SMILE!

This is without a doubt the best experience I have ever had at the Dentist the Staff Is Phenomenal and that is an understatement. They are professional, friendly, they made me feel extremely comfortable and they do a spectacular job ensuring your needs are met. I cannot see myself going anywhere else after the level of care I received. I encourage anyone looking for a dentist to put this office at the top of your list. I made the hour drive and it was 100% worth it.

I went to see Dr Hensley in Riverview, after the first visit, I knew that I will go back to see Dr Hensley because he was so gentle and he took time to listen to the patient so he could take care of the patient well. But he moved, I tried and tried to find his new location and I was so happy that I could find his new office in Lutz. All the staff was so nice. Kelly, the dental assistant was so nice and patient. Denise, the dental hygienist was very gentle and took time for the cleaning. Judi , Karen all of them were very friendly. The new office was very nice and clean with all the new equipments and new technologies. I highly recommend this dental office to everyone who want to be able to relax with no fear of pain in a dental office. Thank you Dr Hensley and the staff for taking really good care of me on my recent visit. I am sure I will be back no matter how far from home . Thank you so much .

TrueSmiles is fabulous. We drive over an hour to see Dr. Hensley. Every member of his staff is professional and courteous; you are guaranteed to get good old-fashioned customer service from the support staff. I always feel like my time is valued at TrueSmiles because appointments run on time. Dr. Hensley inspires a high level of confidence when recommending a treatment plan and is extremely fair with pricing. It is a small thing, but I love the automated text and email reminders of upcoming appointment dates.

Truesmiles Dental studio is the best of the best. The staff is always so nice and professional. The atmosphere is always positive and the place is very clean. You can tell they all take pride in what they do. They have all new Technology that I never had at my previous dentist. I give them 5 stars but would give 10 if possible. Had procedures done for 2 new crowns. This is the first time working with Dr Hensley and Kelly. They both made me feel comfortable. I was surprised at the latest technologies used to make sure the procedures were complete. I recommend True Smiles Dental to anyone in need of new dental care.
