Dr. Michael Cao is a Texas native and received his bachelors degree from the University of St. Thomas and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.
Dr. Cao loves learning and is committed to continuing education. He takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills, so he can continue to provide his patients with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
Michael met his wife, Dr. Nina Tran, while the two attended dental school. They not only share similar personal interests, but they also share the same vision for treating patients. When he isnt caring for patients, you can find Dr. Cao eating, playing golf, or adding to his collection of board games.
Dr. Nina Tran was born in Houston and raised in Deer Park. She earned her bachelors degree in biology with a minor in business administration from the University of Houston. After participating in several Texas Mission of Mercy dental events, she saw firsthand the impact that a lack of adequate dental care can have on a persons ability to function in their everyday lives. It was then she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston and met her husband, Dr. Michael Cao, along the way.
Dr. Tran enjoys taking advanced continuing educations courses and honing her skills as a dentist. She was fortunate to have many positive childhood dental experiences, and her goal is to make every patient experience as positive, if not better, than her own, through proper dental education, sincerity, and gentle care.
In her free time, Dr. Tran enjoys finding ways to renew her love of the city, cycling, and spending time with my three forever puppies, Chippy, Guinness, and Muppet. Her second love is traveling, and she loves seeking out places with unique cuisine or scenic hiking paths.
