Dr. John J. Lupini is your hometown Orthodontist with the personal touch. You will find doctor placing brackets, going over treatment plans with his patients, or even delivering a retainer while talking about the upcoming Friday night football game.
Dr. Lupini grew up in Highland Michigan, a small town right outside of Milford. Coming from a small town, Dr. Lupini has always valued the relationships he makes within his community. Along with his wife Kim, and his son Aiden he resides in Gibraltar. When Dr. Lupini is not in the office helping his patients receive their best smile, you will find him out on Lake Erie boating or fishing. He is an avid outdoorsmen, spending his free time perfecting his archery skills or dirt biking with Aiden.
Dr. Lupini takes a very hands-on approach. He strategically places every orthodontic bracket himself based on his experience and thoughtful planning. He prefers to keep things simple. Some orthodontic treatment options such as headgear and bulky functional appliances are just too difficult for a child to wear sufficiently to accomplish the desired result. Instead, Dr. Lupini prefers to use methods that are the least troublesome, especially for his child patients. Even a childs parents will feel less burdened by the orthodontic treatment process.
Doctor Lupini maintains the highest quality orthodontics through continuing-education courses as well as staying current on the latest orthodontic research, technology, and treatment options such as tooth-colored braces, clear braces/invisible braces, clear aligners/invisible aligners, clear retainers, and orthodontic expander options.
Dr. Lupini graduated top in his class from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1991, and he received the William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, soon followed the Alpha Omega Scholarship Award and was inducted as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society in 1991. He then continued on to graduate as a specialist in Orthodontics in 1994, and following graduation taught courses in the development of occlusion and malocclusion as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Orthodontic Department of the University of Michigan.
John Lupini, DDS, MS, is the director of True Orthodontics, which specializes in early orthodontic treatment, teeth straightening, Invisalign alternatives, and treats children and adults. I love the office, everyone is wonderful. Dr Lupini is very kind and truly cares about the over health of your teeth. My daughter also loves everyone at the office. She has never had any complaints about her treatment. She is in her second stage of ortho. Her favorite assistant is Anita. Dr Lupini's chairside manner is also what you look for in a good orthodontist. He takes his time to explain and make you feel comfortable. Dr Lupini and his entire staff are terrific. From our very first Records appointment to my daughter's Monthly appointments they explain to my husband, our daughter, and myself what they'll be doing at each appointment. Dr Lupini is very kind and mellow. He's soft spoken and has a relaxed demeaner which I feel helps kids stay calm too. My son does well with him and he's very thorough and is great at what he does.
