TruNorth is professional and friendly. They make you comfortable and less stressful by telling you everything about your procedures. My son and I both highly recommend Dr.Timothy Ackerman and his staff.

Everyone on the staff in both the Maplewood and Woodbury offices are very helpful and friendly. I called and within hours I was scheduled for an appointment the same day . The next day I was seen the next morning without hesitation for a tooth extraction. Dr. Johnson is very gentle and afterwards I told him he has miracle hands. He is kind , professional, and I highly recommend him and his team.

Absolutely my best dental experience ever. The caring attitude of the staff and the attention to detail by the dental staff is second to none. True North is an organization that really cares about their patients and who provide first rate service. Dr. Ackerman is an exceptional dental surgeon who did an excellent job with my extraction, bone graft and implant procedures putting me completely at ease and explaining everything. And thanks for the delicious ice cream, what a nice touch.

My 2nd daughter to have her wisdom teeth removed. The staff at True North are wonderful, and they continued care of my daughter even after she left the office. Post- op care was terrific!

Personal, professional, and painless...for having to have an extraction, it was absolutely the easiest and best extraction i have ever had, and i have had a lot of them! Would unequivocally recommend true north!

I can't speak positively enough about my experience here. I had my original consult with Dr. Ackerman at the Forest Lake office and had my surgery performed in Woodbury. I was extremely nervous about my wisdom teeth surgery but Dr. Ackerman and the whole team were extremely comforting and answered all of my questions with patience, professionalism, and kindness. The surgery was quick and afterwards they even let me pick out a pint of Cold Stone ice cream and gave me a follow up call to make sure I was feeling good. I would absolutely recommend this team.

My husband had an abscessed tooth and True North Woodbury was able to get him in right away. The staff and doctor were wonderful. Everyone was so kind, efficient, and professional. Explained everything thoroughly and my husband was done in practically a wink. He's going to be feeling much better soon without a bad tooth. Thank you everyone, especially Amy, Tammy, and Dr. Johnson. Great job!

Highly recommend True North. Dr. Ackerman and the entire staff are professional, friendly and thorough. They took the time to walk through the extraction and implant process, ensuring that I am comfortable with everything from their fees to the process itself. They couldn't have been more accommodating during yesterday's extraction procedure to put me at ease. Thank you!!

Great experience and great doctor. I had wisdom tooth extracted and had no issues. Everyone was very knowledgeable and treated me with great respect. Highly recommended!

They were very good and quick with getting the meds in and made sure that I was comfortable and once they got the tooth out and the infection out I already feel a lot better. Just glad it's over.

I was soooo scared and anxious to get my wisdom teeth out but I'm very thankful I chose true north to to my procedure. Dr. Johnson and his team were very helpful and calming to me and did everything they could to help me ease my anxiety. The worst part was waiting for the surgery and post surgery recovery, the actual surgery itself was a breeze. They gave me laughing gas and numbing cream and I didn't feel one thing the whole time. If anyone is terrified of getting their wisdom teeth out I highly recommend coming here as they work very well with people suffering from dental/ teeth anxiety. They even send you home with coldstone after you're done! I will recommend true north to anyone getting dental work done. Thank you thank you!

This is grade A oral surgery. I am blessed to have such a wonderful place with warm caring Dr.s and nurses they are truely the best.

Very nice employees had my consult on a wed n procedure following Monday. It was quick and professional. Dr Ackerman and team were so nice ID recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery done.

It should be five stars, but the practice of paying up front is likely not a common part of the culture in Woodbury. Otherwise, the service is painless.

I'm sure the Doctors are very good at their job. But, the total turn off of the older receptionist was down right rude, unprofessional, and mean. Yes, a "Karen!" She asked me for my dental card and I told her first it was DeltaDental. She said, "great that's in our network." Her attitude during the intake was so dissociative I was appalled. At that moment I wanted to walkout! My husband came in to give her our Delta Dental card. My husband was going through his wallet for the card and she was so impatient she slammed the papers down! When she saw the card she was furious as our State of Mn Delta card wasn't in their network! All heck broke loose with her." You and your wife wasted my time! Why didn't she say group 216!?" Unreal! So, this was so bad even if I was accepted with a network card, I would not go here!! Nice way to represent your Doctors. The young receptionist next to "Karen", just had a nervous laugh over this behavior! Embarrassed....
