After completing his general practice residency at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2004, Dr. Yang joined True North Dentistry and is now a partner in the practice. Dr. Yang particularly enjoys solving complex dental issues and resolving debilitating dental pain for his patients. To assist in these matters, Dr. Yang has spent countless hours furthering his education in endodontics (root canals), dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, TMD and complicated restorative cases (full mouth rehabilitation). He also continues to be a professor at Northern Arizona University (NAU) where he enjoys sharing his knowledge of dentistry and serving the greater student population. Dr. Yang spends countless hours each year volunteering his dental services to local charities, benefiting the local Flagstaff community. Apart from his dental commitments, Dr. Yang enjoys spending time with his wife Dr. Felicia Bleecker-Yang and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Princess Petunia Crumpet. Dr. Yang is proud to announce the birth of his first child, Barron James, in the fall.

I am grateful to be a client of Dr. David Yang's and his whole dental team/staff. Highly recommend this dental home for anyone who needs dental care whether it's done by the dentist or his hygienists. You will also be taken care of by the dental assistances who help make the experience(s) comfortable and safe with every procedure done in the office. The front office staff will make your appointment scheduling and follow through on treatment accessible, convenient, and less challenging than might be expected. Can't say enough, and I know you'll make a good choice if you visit True North Dentistry for your dental needs.

The front office staff is super kind and organized and welcoming. The dental techs are always really friendly and listen closely to any concerns I have. Dr. Yang is a super talented dentist who really cares about his patients. 100% recommend! Thank you for making all of my dental work such an easy process!!

Professional, Astute and extremely Friendly service. Cleanliness is always held to that high standard. I appreciate the attentive service on every visit; the weighted blanket is comfortable - eases the stress. Excellent dental Service!

My crown is so perfectly designed that if an apocalypse happened and a later civilization found my body, they'd see the tooth and assume I was royalty. The team is exceptional and I'm so thankful for everyone at True North Dentistry!

I'm terrified of doctors and dentists. So I was very anxious at the start of my appointment. But the staff & technicians immediately put me at ease with their friendly, comforting demeanor. Dr. Yang was gentle with my painful teeth & presented me with options for treatment that made me feel confident in his expertise & care, and when I left, I was excited, looking forward to my next visit! Most positive dental experience ever.

Wow!!! Just wow! I went in with a lot of past trauma with other dentist. This place is great. Gave me a weighted blanket, took their time. No lidocaine needed for basic cavities because they use a laser instead of old fashioned drip and fill dentistry. My dental issues are all corrected now and their dental hygienists are fantastic. No pain which is a first for me! Thank you True North!

It can often be difficult finding a new dental care team when moving long distances. I feel that I hit the jackpot with True North Dentistry. Dr. Yang and his team were all very warm and professional in every aspect of my care. I can't say enough about Jean who was so gentle and thorough with my cleaning. The entire staff made me feel aware of every facet of my care throughout the entire process. I recommend True North Dentistry without reservation.

Awesome experience. The staff and dentist, Dr. Wang, were very hands-on. On my first visit they showed me around the entire back and front office then before the initial x-rays and examination, I was taken into a room with the dentist and his assistant so I could explain what I was trying to achieve. Then after the examination all the film were brought up on video in front of me so I see images of my entire mouth as the dentist gave me recommendations. Afterwards, the staff gave me a write-up with an action plan to restore my beautiful smile again. Again, it was a wonderful experience and each office visit has also been the same.

Dr Yang and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I was able to get an appointment and have my chip repaired the same day. Dr Yang is an artist. Everything blends perfectly and the experience was actually relaxing.

If in need of a dentist this is the place to go. My husband needed his wisdom teeth removed . He did it in the matter of seconds . My husband felt no pain highly recommend . I wish I lived here .

Dr Yang and his staff are simply amazing. I've been to my share of dentist and this office is by far the best. The professionalism, care, and kindness is something that is hard to find in today's healthcare world. Dr Yang is technically "out of network" for my insurance and I still choose to go to them because they are truly worth it. He is honest about the work that needs to be done and doesn't choose to do things that are unnecessary. If you are in search of a dentist, I promise you this office will exceed your expectations!

Had my semi-annual cleaning today. Since my usual hygienist was not available, I was blessed with getting Taylor. Very nice, very professional, really good at keeping the conversation going, and a great hygienist to boot. Even with the exam by Dr. Yang (also quick and efficient!) I was out of the office and on my way - with a great cleaning and exam - in under an hour. Excellent teamwork guys! Thanks!
