Dr. Julie Waltrip grew up in Lubbock, Texas and received a bachelors of science degree from Texas Tech University in 1994. She went on to attend dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating in 1998. Dr. Julie spent the first five years of her career in the U.S. Navy and the last 15 years in a successful private practice in Boerne, Texas. She has two sons, Skyler and Tanner, that are grown and attending college. She moved to Las Vegas with her fianc, James Hall, to start a new adventure. After living in Texas for almost three years, James is happy to be closer to his home of Northern California. He is in commercial construction and found a great career opportunity in Las Vegas.

I love to attend continuing education courses that advance my knowledge in the field and allow me to take advantage of new dental technology. Cosmetic dentistry is my favorite area of general dentistry because giving someone a beautiful, functional smile can be an important part of helping them succeed in life.
