At the age of 6, Dr. Nguyen moved to Portland with her parents and two siblings from Vietnam. She has always been intrigued by esthetically pleasing imageries of people and places to the extent that she has considered pursuing a career in the fashion industry. However, instead of chasing images, Dr. Thanh-Truc Nguyen wanted to create and bring to life the notion of a beautiful smile. Therefore, dentistry became her calling. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nguyen loves to explore food and culture. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese which has given her great appreciation in the different ways people communicate.
Dentistrycan be a difficult language to explain but Dr. Thanh-Truc Nguyen is dedicated to walking patients through concerns and questions and work toward the goal of delivering what the patient is envisioning.
She has dedicated her practice to providing the absolute highest quality dentistry using the newest state-of-the-art equipment and techniques. She continuously updates and improving her skills through education courses and study groups in cosmetic and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Weinberg dentist, is an active member of the American Dental Association, The Oregon Dental Association, Washington County Dental Society, and the board of directors for Scholarship for Smiles, which provides dental care for high school students. She also donates her services in the community to Donated Dental Services which provides dental care to adults with special needs and volunteers with the Medical Teams International at their mobile dental clinic.
Dr. Susan Weinberg, dentist, has always been dedicated to the community and has supported our veterans, our senior citizens, and underprivileged children. She has led a task force to collect personal protective equipment for hospitals during our Covid 19 pemdemic tragedy.
I have always believed that the greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate action of its members. I have a long and deep connection to our community and believe that the best of me shows up when I am in service.

This is a long and very overdue review for this wonderful office. My teeth were in rough shape due to past eating disorder mixed with killer genes. I went searching for a dentist since I had moved up here and let me tell you, I struck gold with these amazing people. All of them. Even people who aren't there anymore. I had a lot of work to be done. And we know that dental work is not cheap, even with insurance. They prioritized what needed to be done immediately, and worked with me through the years to stay within my dental plan and keep moving forward on fixing my teeth. They never once make you feel bad, always up front about costs and at the end of the day really care about you as a person. 4 years later and 7 crowns, I am "done" with everything needing to be fixed. However, I will be a forever patient as long as I live here. I am just about to finish up my last tray of Invisalign with them as well. In the time I have been going here, I have gotten to work with everyone. There isn't a soul here you wouldn't want to have to treat you. Dr. Weinberg and Dr. Nguyen and their dental assistants, Ashleigh and Sage are absolutely phenomenal. Then you have your front office ladies and the hygienists--They are all gems. This long rambly review is to basically say that no matter who you encounter here, you are in great hands. Go get your teeth cleaned and meet some amazing people.

Due to having bad luck with dentists for the last couple years, I gave up on my teeth for a while. Once I started having pain, I knew it was time to go in. I came to TruDentistry and was so happy from day 1. The staff is all so nice and the office is very clean and welcoming. Dr. Nguyen took care of me, and from the beginning was so kind and helpful. She really strives to show/educate you why you need certain procedures done, which I really appreciate. I needed a root canal and was terrified because of all the horror stories, but Dr. Nguyen did great and it was all over before I knew it! She really put all my concerns at ease. Would recommend anyone to come check them out!

There has been a lot of dental work in my life, but today was by far the best dental experience I've ever had! Dr. Nguyen and Sage took amazing care of me, explained what was going on and went over all my options. Never even felt the Novocain! Which was a rarity for me. There was quite a bit to do today but they were done within the hour! I can't recommend TruDental of Tigard strongly enough. Amazing staff all around the office, who have already had to deal with several of my reschedules and never once make me feel bad for it. I'm so thrilled to finally have found my dentist. Thank you all! I'm actually excited for cleanings now. :)

I have been going to Dr. Weinberg my whole life, and I am lucky to have had such a awesome experience with my dentist. I hear about people hating going to the dentist, and I am always happy to say that I have never felt that way. Great office with great people, and i will always go back to them. Update: Now approaching 30 years of going to this Dentist office! They are most definitely a second family to me. Over the years everyone here has been a delight, and now that it is TruDentistry nothing has changed as far as welcoming and professional environment. Still proud to say my only dentist family.

I had a crown and a cavity filled. They made it fast and painless. And I was so scared! They explained every step and we're quick about it. I felt so taken care of! If you have to get de real work done, definitely see Susan Weinberg!! She was so loving and attentive.

Finding a new dentist is tough when you're new to an area and I'm so thankful my insurance approved a second opinion after visiting TruDentistry. Very nice people but my cleaning was not as good as I expected and in my exam they found a couple fillings to be done.... They didn't give me my full "care plan" up front and the day my first filling was due I was told about the rest of the care plan over the phone when they called to confirm my appointment, which included a lot of fillings and work needing to be re-done no one told me about during my initial appointment. Needless to say, I canceled that appointment because of the distrust it created and sought out a second opinion, which found EVERYTHING to be normal and no work needed just a second cleaning in 6 months. I've now seen my new dentist twice once for a second opinion 6 months ago or so and today for my second annual cleaning, which I'm very happy with my teeth feel like they just got the works. To this day what TruDentistry had on my treatment plan was not necessary and my teeth are in great shape.

One of my husband's back teeth cracked in half and fell apart today (10/1/2021) while he was at work. He called me, desperate to figure out what could be done. We tried to see if we could get in to see our dentist, but there were no openings. He was in terrible discomfort. My husband is a combat-wounded veteran, who sustained severe damage to his jaw when a grenade detonated inside his Humvee in Iraq; several large pieces of shrapnel were embedded in his face, and as a result, he is very sensitive, and selective, about dental work. I immediately texted our friend Dr. Susan Weinberg, who has a HUGE heart for serving veterans. Being that it is Friday, her office was closed, but she called me and said, "I can meet you guys at my clinic at 2:30; I'll get a hold of my dental assistant." These ladies came in on their day off to fix my husband's tooth.... On a Friday afternoon... without even batting an eye. I am grateful for many things, but I am especially grateful for wonderful, caring, compassionate friends like this. Susan, we cannot even begin to thank you, and Ashleigh, enough for your kindness today.
