Over his 20 years as a dentist, he has been on several mission trips to Honduras and another to India through his church. Dr. Hwang helped local citizens with any of their dental needs in order to help educate and advocate for Oral health. When doctor is not busy with dentistry he enjoys reading, exercising, travelling and spending time with his wife and three boys. Dr. Hwang has helped many people in our community through his dedication to improving his patients' health and wellbeing.
Dr. Chois career in dentistry was derived from her interest in medicine and art. She went to school for her bachelors of science in biochemistry at the University of California San Diego. She then went on to Boston University school of Dental Medicine, and lastly to Temple University school of dentistry for her advance dentistry training. Dr. Choi joined a free dental clinic run by Dr. Silverstein in San Diego during her college days. She really saw the value of practicing dentistry while also serving the community. She is skilled in many different procedures, but if she had to choose her favorite they would have to be cosmetic and surgical cases. Dr. Choi continues to freshen up her knowledge by being a member of the American Academy of dental practice administration from Boston University, as well as a member in the international dental implant association. Not only is Dr. Choi advanced in general dentistry, but she has certification in Botox/dermal filler and Implantology.
Since graduating from dental school in 2009, Dr. Choi has been on many mission trips to places such as Tijuana, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Indonesia. While on these trips she helped the local community with any dental and medical need. When she is not hard at work she enjoys being at church either volunteering for the children with autism, or playing piano. She also likes traveling, cooking, and spending time with her two children, along with her husband. Dr. Choi looks forward to seeing you in our office soon!
Dr. Saraswathi Hanumanthegowda (Dr. Sara) earned her DDS from the State University of New York, Buffalo and graduated in 2013. She continues to pursue excellence in Dentistry by actively participating in numerous Continuing Education courses and keeping up to date with new techniques and technology.
She strives to provide quality dentistry within a comfortable and friendly environment. She also ensures to take the time to connect with each patient and give them the care they deserve. She believes in not only clinical excellence, but also in providing comfortable, care and a gentle touch. She takes great pride in helping her patients maintain optimal levels of oral health
Dr. Yeom started her dental career at Seoul National University and graduated in 1993. Then she went on for her periodontal residency at Seoul National dental hospital 1993-1996. After this she decided on going to Indiana University from 2002-2005. She became a board certified Periodontist in 2007 and has been a member of Osseointegration since 2005. Dr. Yeom enjoys all of her periodontal procedures including nonsurgical and surgical periodontal treatment. She has her main focus set on tissue grafting, implants and sinus lifts. Since she started as a dentist 25 years ago her interest has always been centralized around periodontics although she is skilled in all facets of dentistry.
In Dr. Yeoms free time she has numerous things she enjoys. She likes to go hiking with her dog around the trails of the Pacific North West. Also she likes to watch movies off of YouTube and Dr. Yeom always attends her Sunday church service every week. Dr. Yeom looks forward to helping you and all her patient with any periodontal needs.

This office is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and so kind. I have dental anxiety and they are so comforting to me and have gone out of their way to make me feel accepted. They see my 6 year old too. They are even better with her! She says going to the dentist is fun!

Whenever we visit TruDental office,, we are welcomed with warm feelings. All the staff members are fantastic professionals. Their Hygienist is excellent and very gentle with us. We always feel we were well taken care of when we leave there.

This was my first visit and from the first communication with Heather she was professional and kind she made everything come together smoothly and when I actually had my appointment I walked into a wonderful environment the rest of the staff Dr Steve and his assistant Carmen were wonderful he explained everything as he worked on me and I really appreciate that I am super particular on my care and providers and business staff if I could give more stars I definitely would A+ Trudental thank you for your professionalism and customer care I will be highly recommending you to all my friends and family

Emergency availability? I have a tooth infection that has spread to the jaw. Painful swelling. But I am not a patient. I am a trucker here in your town bringing your supplies and picking up your goods. I am far from home. The infection is spreading out to my neck and maybe my brain before I can get home. I selected this clinic to call upon due to it's high Google ranking. If you have a high rating I would look for a Dentist office that goes above and beyond. Sadly they turned me away. David at the clinic was polite as one can be. David was apologetic. I didn't even need the tooth worked on today but just the exam and antibiotics until I could make a proper appointment. 5 star? No... I have been emergency treated once before by a Dentist in Texas that sacrificed his lunchtime to see and assist me. THAT is a 5 star rating. This is probably a clinic filled with wonderful people that perform wonderful work. But they did not show me compassion in my time of greatest need. Update: Dr. Nutalls smile dentist clinic was able see me even though they were completely booked up for the day. Their Covid safety standards were impeccable! In life some are heroes and some are zeroes. Dr. Nutall was my hero!!

Dr.Hwang is great and his staff is just as amazing, Heather, the front office is super helpful and is very organized! Definitely would recommend coming here if you want a caring, honest office! They were able to squeeze me in quickly for an emergency exam and get me to the correct specialist :)

Went there on Wednesday since Bothell location was closed. The whole staff there were very friendly and kind and Dr Steve was awesome as usual. Thank you guys for taking such good care of me during my time of need. I had to drive almost an hour but the drive was worth the care I got, it's nice to be able to be seen for emergency when the office I usually go to was closed.
