Dr. Amin is a New York native who attended the University of Pennsylvania and received her Bachelors Degree in Biology. She attended SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine for the commencement of her professional education and graduated cum laude with a minor in Pediatric Dentistry. After a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Manhattan and some time practicing general dentistry, Dr. Amin decided to pursue her passion for Periodontics. She received her certificate in Periodontics from the prestigious VAMC in Manhattan. Dr. Amin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Board certified periodontist who is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Central Dental Society.
I believe healthy bone and gum tissue are the foundation of good oral health, which can also impact overall wellbeing. Maintaining and monitoring periodontal health are crucial for the success of any dental therapy and patient care is of the utmost importance to me. I pride myself on my compassionate and gentle approach and believe that communication and education are key to a mutual understanding which leads to better results'.

Since I am usually apprehensive at any type of surgery, but this had to be done, to my pleasant surprise, they took the fear out of this visit and turned it into a beautiful visit, which is a first for me. The doctor was so kind, reassuring, thoughtful and very professional, yet personal. Her assistant was a perfect match, also kind, professional and gentle. I highly recommend Dr Unnati Amin and the staff at TRU Periodontics. This is the absolute best place to take care of any dental need! Recently, Dr Amin performed a bone and gum surgery, as well as a bone grafting procedure. Prior to, I had had an ongoing history of dental problems which accumulated. Dr Amin was extremely professional and mindful of my experience throughout this process. She discussed a set of grafting options, went over x-ray results, insurance coverage and took the time needed to go over any concerns I had (there were multiple follow-ups questions for her, which she always answered). She and her staff has always been friendly and courteous. As far as scheduling, I met with Dr Amin in between mornings and afternoons, where she was always flexible. I'm extremely pleased with her work and will continue to use her for future dental needs!

Love the way Dr. Amin provided care! Very professional! Explains all the steps involved in the process and what's happening with or under the teeth in simple terms. Also, after the bone graft surgery, she called to make sure everything is okay and I don't have any problems. Plus, there was no wait when you make an appointment with her. 110% recommend Dr. Amin for all your periodontics need!!

Office staff very friendly. They have paperwork all prepared waiting for you to complete. During Covid all precautions were taken,gowns, masks, gloves, etc. and done very professionally while being very nice with personal touch. Dr. Amin very friendly and kind. Her consultation and evaluation extremely thorough, very detailed. She takes time to fully hear your needs and why you have sought out a periodontist. She asks a lot of questions to get a complete understanding of you as a person and your needs. During procedure Dr. Amin and her assistant ask many times if you are ok and comfortable. After procedure at home care and needed prescriptions are already prepared. Dr. Amin follows up by phone the next day to see how you are doing and also a few days later. Dr Amin answers all questions. She is available just by calling if needed. Dr. Amin very knowlegable, kind and caring. I defintely strongly reccommend Dr. Amin and staff if you are in need of a periodontist.

The best doctor I've met in all of my life. Very patience and told me the detail of my teeth condition. My 9th teeth had a very serious infection, lost huge bone, the pain affect me the last whole year. The problem remind me every moment. Dr. Amin really help me to solve this problem. Dr. Amin was very patient and explained the entire process in detail. She was also very careful to work around my sensitive gums. The staff was very friendly, and I like that the office is brand new. Great place, will be going here for all my dental needs.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Dr. Amin. My daughter had gum surgery for a receding gums and Dr. Amin is the utmost professional. She explains everything in detail, answers any and all questions, keeps you updated every step of the way. The office is new and fresh. Her assistant Jay is also wonderful, so friendly, helpful and accommodating. When my daughter accidently pulled out a stitch and started bleeding, Dr. Amin's response was immediate. She even called several times to check on her status. Her work was beautiful and more importantly a complete success. I would recommend TRU Periodontics to anyone, they will take good care of you.
