Dr. Patel strives to make patients feel as comfortable as possible, during treatments as well as with the overall treatment plan. He places emphasis on good continuity of care and feels that his patients are a part of his work family. He shows compassion towards others, at work and in his daily life. He feels that there is a great sense of camaraderie among all staff, which is vital for the best patient care.
Born in Kampala, Uganda, Dr. Patel then moved to India and received a B.S. in Microbiology. He then moved to Michigan, where he attended both the University of Michigan School of Pharmacy and School of Dentistry. While working as a pharmacist, he started and completed dental school. He owned his dental practice in Canton for 27 years. He has been practicing dentistry for 34 years and continues to work in retail pharmacy, for the past 37 years!
Dr. Patel has training in orthodontics, implant dentistry, surgical extractions and more. His pharmacy work allows him to provide more comprehensive care. He understands how his dental work or medications prescribed could affect other health conditions or interact with a patients daily medications. He places importance on how diabetes, heart disease and other medical conditions could affect a patients oral health and vice versa. Oral cancer screenings are a part of his routine care.
Dr. Patel is a compassionate and dedicated dentist and pharmacist. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters, and granddaughter. He also enjoys traveling, tent camping at Warren Dunes, photography and serving others locally and abroad. He is a season ticket holder for University of Michigan Football. Dr. Patel used to perform drug testing through the University of Michigan for NCAA college sports and for U.S. Olympic athletes with his father-in-law, who was the chief of NCAA drug testing through U of M. One of his most memorable service opportunities was performing dental assessments and treatments to residents in Ghana, Africa with his daughter, Armani.

Dr. Saboor and the staff are kind, friendly and keep your health and comfort in mind at all times. I am as nervous as most when going to a Dentist, but this practice is a pleasure to visit.

I spent a while looking for the perfect place for my 3 year old to get her first cleaning. It was extremely important to me that she would have the best first experience. This place did not disappoint. The staff and dentist were so kind and caring towards her. They took their time to show her the tools and explain in a way a 3 year old would understand. They took steps to ensure they didn't startle her with the sounds or feeling of the tools. She was never uncomfortable or scared the entire time. I am so impressed and so grateful for all of them. I would highly suggest this place for any parent looking for their child or even themselves.

Theresa did my cleaning and Iveth did my exam they were both amazing and went above and beyond. I was sad to see Dr Sonne and thankful for all he has done for me and my family. Dr Patel and his team really put me at ease and I will be coming back. Munie is also amazing at the front desk. It was a pleasure having my teeth worked on.

May sound impossible , but always a pleasurable office to visit. Good people, excellent care, and a lotta laughs. Usually when your mouths all clamped open with hardware though.

Had a great experience today with my new hygntist Jamie today. She is new to this location but took care of me like a old pro. Very quick and thorough. I've been coming to this location for years and received excellent care the whole time. A lot of new staff here now but the service and care remains solid. Thanks!

Had been putting off a trip to the dentist especially during Covid but they put me at ease immediately. From the phone call to make my appointment to checking in and checking out, everyone was friendly and professional. Not to mention that my cleaning felt so good. My hygienist was gentle and thorough.

I just happened to find this place because of a little emergency I was having in left side of my mouth. I googled dentist near me and it showed up in my results. I am very happy I went there because Dr. Patel & Yveth were very kind to me & attentive to all my needs. They took the necessary time to make sure everything was okay and treated me nicely. Not to mention the front desk staff was absolutely amazing.

Came back to Michigan from Texas to see Dr. Paresh Patel. He is awesome. Couldn't find nobody as good as him in Texas did not Want nobody to mess up his work that he had done 6 years ago. I searched him down and I found him and came all the way to Texas to see him.

My hygienist Theresa was so kind and gentle everyone in the office called me by name, and the doctor was very helpful and quick with letting me know what was going on with my teeth. It's only my first time coming here and it was probably the best dental experience I've had.

My hygienist is Theresa. She is so good that I followed her to Dr. Sonne's office. She does an absolutely thorough, and gentle cleaning. Her kindness and expertise are immeasurable. I highly recommend Theresa!
