Dr. Roumani was first introduced to the profession of dentistry through his ceramics instructor in high school. His teacher suggested dentistry due to the blend of art and science the field affords and his attention to details that the profession demands.
Dr. Roumani has completed extensive continuing education and hands-on courses to be current with the latest developments in the dental field including implant placement and restoration. He advanced his clinical training by completing and receiving a General Practice Residency (GPR) certificate from UCLA School of Dentistry in affiliation with Ronald Regan Hospital in 2010. Dr. Roumani is certified in IV sedation to provide a comfortable experience for patients with dental phobia or those undergoing complex surgical therapy. So glad I found TRU Family Dental in Sterling Heights. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. Started my day with a toothache so I called TRU Family. Not gonna lie, I'm terrified to go to the dentist. They told me to come right in (I'm a new patient). Special thanks to Ivory for her thoughtful and kind words. She's companionate and kind and helped so much with my fear of having dental work done. I have finally found a dental office that truly went above and beyond to ease my anxiety. Also the lovely ladies at the reception desk are incredible. Thank you all!

Honestly I drive for an hour to get there just to see Dr. Roumani. Top notch service, got my 4 wisdom teeth taken out with no complications. Highly recommend!

I went for a second opinion and they told me what was needed and what was not nexysaving me almost $400. They got me in and out same day for my 1st portion of the crown.

Love this office! Ivy and Dr Samrao we're amazing. They help calm my nerves. Only downside is scheduling can book out pretty far but it's worth the wait!

Dr. Roumani and the assistant Klaudia were so gentle. Both helped me and held my hand throughout the dental procedure. They made me feel so comfortable I did not need medication to help me remain calm. I do appreciate them. They were so hospitable. Thank you for letting me stay in control at your dentist's office. I could not have done this without them.

Had a lot of anxiety about going in today for my 2nd filling in the same month and they really made my experience wonderful! The team walked me through the procedure and made sure I felt no pain! They really helped ease my anxiety as well!

You're greeted when you first walk in with enthusiasm. Staff has been wonderful. Doctor was truthful and knowledgeable. Told me what needed to be done and done same day !

I have always had major anxiety when going to a dentist. The hygienists and doctor are amazing. Made me feel absolutely comfortable through everything so far. I made the right choice by choosing them. Keep up the great work!!!!

I still fear the dentist despite being an adult. I am always needing work done and get anxiety about it all. Everyone at this office is the best -- from the girls at the front desk to the hygienists and assistants to the dentists. I've seen Dr. Roumani and Samaro and they are both unbelievably patient and accommodating. They are understanding and do great work. I've never liked going to the dentist more. Once in a while they might send out a coupon which is ungodly in my book considering I paid $8k out of pocket last year between root canals, crowns and cavities. Every bit of savings helps.

I am someone who has bad anxiety about the dentist but Dr. Roumani and Klaudia made me feel right at home and the procedure was smooth and painless..I would recommend this place to anybody looking for quality dental work and a warm and positive atmosphere.

I first want to say that I've had bad experiences at other places. So I'm not a fan of going to the dentist. The staff at Tru Family Dental put me at ease right away. Dr. Roumani is a very knowledgeable dentist who makes you feel important. His assistant, Klaudia, is very helpful and has a sweet personality. I highly recommend their office to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

Dr. Roumani and his assistant Klaudia did an excellent job for me. I needed my two front teeth capped, and Dr. Roumani kept at it (3 tries) to make sure that the color of the teeth matched perfectly to my own teeth. He clearly cares about his patients and wants them to have the best outcome possible. In addition, the hygienist Maria has been cleaning my teeth since long before TruDental came into being. I'm glad she stayed on with the new company. I have to make a long drive to go to this office, and I certainly wouldn't if this office and its personnel weren't the best.
