Dr. Henley treats every patient as a guest and believes their time in the office should be a relaxing, rewarding experience. He listens carefully to his patients in order to fully understand what they want and strives to treat them in a caring and comfortable environment. Dr. Henley believes ongoing education is a part of his responsibility to patients, and visitors to the practice can enjoy the advances of the latest dental methods and technology.
Dr. Henley attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. He then went on to graduate from Northwestern Universitys School of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Henley received his Fellowship in 2007 from the Academy of General Dentistry and in the latter part of 2012, became a candidate for Fellowship with the American Association of Implant Dentistry. He is an active member of several prestigious dental organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois Dental Society, the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, and the International Association of Orthodontics. For nearly 25 years, Dr. Henley has built a reputation as one of Napervilles top dentists.
Dr. Henley is experienced in numerous types of dentistry, including preventive, cosmetic, and restorative work. Hes also practiced in periodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, TMJ/TMD treatment, sleep apnea treatment, and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Henley was born in Benton, Illinois, and lived there as a young child until moving to Downers Grove. His interest in dentistry dates back to 1962 when, at age 6, a bicycle accident forever changed his smile. The loss of his front teeth and several lengthy visits with his dentist only further planted the seed of his curiosity. Dr. Henley enjoys furthering his education, traveling, and spending time with his wife, children, and two Bengal cats. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, boating, and living life to its fullest.

Dr. Henley and his staff are wonderful. My mom was recently treated for a dental emergency in his office and he and his staff were so kind and compassionate towards her and put her fears at ease. My mom was so relieved to have her problem tooth solved quickly by Dr Henley. He does wonderful work and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a dentist.

I'd avoid this place - the office staff are either taking on too many patients, or need new management. My fiance was wrongfully sent the full bill for an annual preventative visit (despite being covered by insurance each year) - the office made no attempt to bill insurance. After several calls over two weeks, we've been unable to reach anyone, instead each time receiving a promise that the "billing department will get back to us shortly". Seemingly, this "billing department" is one person who is always with patients; she has never tried to call back. Edit: they had also cancelled an appointment on us without communicating anything until we actually showed up... apparently they had switched systems and failed to carry over the old appointments.

Dr. Henley is an amazing dentist. He took the time to explain the whole tooth extraction procedure with me and went over my X-ray in detail. He is very caring and very experienced!

When I cracked my front tooth at work, I was in a pickle! I called Dr. Henley's office and they made room for me that afternoon! I was so relieved and appreciative that they would make time for my personal emergency. The office staff is wonderful and personable. Dr. Henley is friendly and the process was painless. Dr. Carl is the best. The office staff is some of the worst I have ever seen or dealt with. They cancel appointments at the last minute with no notice. Claim I owe thousands of dollars from over twelve months ago, but can't seem to locate they ever notified me. They are the reason I need oral work from grinding my teeth dealing with the completely incompetent women in the front. If Laura answers the phone, just hang up.

I am so thankful to have been referred to this dental office! I have had many negative experiences with dentists in the past. I was looking for a dentist to look at an old root canal tooth that needed to be extracted. I scheduled a consult with Dr. Henley, expecting a brief chat about my situation. I was very pleasantly surprised at how the consult went. He spent about an hour with me, did some imaging, thoroughly explained all his observations and recommended procedures. He answered all my questions, and not once did I feel rushed. I come from a holistic background as well. Dr. Henley was very accepting of my ideas and thoughts from a holistic standpoint. I was terrified of having my molar pulled. However, the procedure went so well that Dr. Henley took the fear out of having this kind of procedure done again in the future. I feel confident in his expertise and experience. After my extraction, I did develop dry socket and was in pain longer than expected. Dr. Henley took me in, corrected the issue, and saw me several times to make sure that I was not in pain. He is caring and compassionate, and genuine. They are also very honest and upfront about finances and insurance coverage. They let you know in advance exactly what the costs will be so that there are no surprises of an unexpected expense. Dr. Henley and all the staff are all very friendly and kind. It's always a pleasure to come back in.

The staff here have been absolutely wonderful and accommodating. My family has been going here for 3 years or so. Stephanie is awesome and Bitsy has been wonderful to work with too. Kim is a great new dental hygienist - best cleaning I think I've ever had. Thorough and not rushed. The staff has been great with reminding us about appointments, and has been able to help squeeze us in on short notice. Dr. Henley (Doc) has a great sense of humor, is honest, and makes visits enjoyable. We've had cleanings, x-rays, wisdom teeth pulled, and dental implants done here, cavities filled, as well as teeth whitening, and a mouth guard made. Great customer service!
