My mission is to treat people, not just teeth, and to take the time to get to know each of my patients so that I can better serve their needs and deliver the best individualized care possible, using the latest techniques in dentistry. Additionally, building a rapport and forming long-term relationships with my patients is very important to me.

most unprofessional dentist office i've ever been too. the receptionists will whisper about patients behind the desk as if people in the waiting room can't hear. my brother got his wisdom teeth out and the receptionists acted appalled when i asked if they offered any anesthesia or gas and rudely told me no. when i asked for his prescription to fill it while he was getting the procedure done, they were no help with that either. they told me that he didn't have one and i'd have to ask the dentist for it if we wanted any type of antibiotic or pain management. i asked her to ask him because i wasn't allowed back there and her response was "i don't know what room they're in". getting a note to excuse him from work was also an issue. the receptionist refused to give him the next day off, she'd only give the current day. we had to go to a walk in clinic afterwards to get a note to excuse him. don't even get me started on payment. my mom left copies of her card to pay for the procedure. they told me they don't keep copies, as soon as my mom walked in to pay for it they pulled the copy of her card out. unbelievable.

Not happy with the service anymore. At my previous appointment, I waited 2 hours before I got inside. And I still give it a chance and come back to this clinic because I was thinking maybe on that day only. The very last appointment that I decided not going back is when my appointment was 2 pm. I checked in at 1:30 pm and left the clinic at almost 5 pm. All they gave me was a prescription and referral. I drove 45 minutes to this clinic, but the waiting time was unacceptable. Why do you have to set an appointment time if you are going to see me last? Don't accept many appointments in a day if you're short staff if that's the issue that you guys get behind. Good luck to all the patients and this practice.

We have been going to Tru Family for aprox 5 years, Dr. Tapia and staff had been beyond terrific and made our son with HF autism & anxiety very comfortable. After Dr. Tapia left, it look our son a little time to adjust (he went back to continually shaking, having tears in his eyes but the new Dr (young man) and the regular staff helped get him back comfortable We had our last appointment on Oct 6th 1:00. We did not recognize any staff and I was caught off guard when the receptionist needed new paperwork and our insurance card (she stated prior staff did not get a copy) 3 of our household are patients and I saw staff make copies. Soon after, our son was called back (he was scheduled for 4 extractions). The gal told me (rudely) that I can sit down and he will return when done. When I stated "do you know what is being done today" she said "yes pulling baby teeth, you can have a seat". I told her "My son is a minor, I am going back with him" (he just turned 13 but more importantly, I knew he would be terrified not recognizing anyone). As I walked through the hall she said "Oh and you think you can go in an operating room with him too (rudely). I told her "We have been here at least 30 times, I have always gone back with him". I sat down. The dr. Came in and quickly started numbing his mouth. Our son reached for my hand. I started to scooch the chair forward and she said "You do not need your momma, your a young man (rudely). I continued to hold his hand. Once done, she said "See, you do not need your momma". (2 of his teeth had already fallen out so he did only need 2 extractions) Wow. Words can not describe how upset I was. We are now looking for another dentist. Our son had asked constantly for two days "Why are the new people mean, why do they not like us mom" " Why did the old workers leave?" "Do we have to go back there"? Its sad. We drove 40 minutes to that office just because of how great everyone was. I am very disappointed that its not even close to being the same. I have since heard and saw on facebook that others have had similar situations.

Update below.......2021 The office ladies have been wonderful to work with...kind, patient, and professional. Dr. Tapia has also been great... nice personality, professional, and conservative in his thinking towards dental care! 9/2022 This office now has all new people and the new dentist "Michael Hanna" is not good.... very rough (left me very sore & bruised from his abrupt injection from a simple cavity filling) and rude when I asked questions regarding this.

Great staff and good work. The receptionist and the new doctor are great. The doctor did filling on my tooth and i was painless. Best dental experience i had. Highly recommend.

We are no longer happy at this office since our Dentist had left. The new dentist is barely there and the schedule is so far behind, and we had an appointment for 2 weeks, we go in the day of our appointment and was told we don't have one, he looks it up and says "oh, you have an appointment but I don't know why because we don't have a Dr. Here today"..... that drew the line for us considering they sent us a reminder call Friday, and sent a reminder text Monday morning the day of the appointment . Very disappointing and switching dentist offices.

I was a Dr. Betz patient, the best dentist ever but he retired. Unfortunately the replacement is horrible. I have had issues from day one. They did my crown improperly and painfully I might add. Then the dentist even paid to redo it out of his own pocket and after hours, which I thought was strange. He applied the new crown and still it had a gap that causes impaction. Finally I went and found a new dentist and they won't help me get it fixed. So I'm stuck paying and suffering due to bad dentist. Place is owned by an out of town company and obviously doesn't care about their reputation. I have talked with several other patients that were with Dr. Betz since birth, and we have all been disappointed with the replacement. Most of us finding a new dentist.

The staff here is great. Dr Tapia is very gentle and kind. Him & Aaron make you feel very comfortable. The front office gals are always smiling and friendly. I would recommended this place to anyone!

I absolutely recommend this office and staff. I never felt the poke of the needle for numbing, Dr. Tapia waited until the numbing gel actually fully worked. And they worked hard to get me in around my work schedule. Highly recommend!!!

I've given this place way too many chances. From waiting 40 min after an appointment start time and leaving having to reschedule, and now I've called 8 times, left a voice mail during business hours, and submitted an online request for an emergency appointment(Dec 28th, 2020) I still haven't been contacted back 3 days later. Update- their office manager contacted me on Dec 31st, leaving a vm letting me know the office was closed all week until the 4th of January. The office also called me once today, Jan. 7th, after an appt reminder text requested I confirm the appointment or request a call. She also responded to my Facebook review with inaccurate information about their responses in an attempt to make my review look egregious. I replied civilly with screenshots refuting her inaccuracies. I am making a complaint to corporate as well. I will be leaving this practice.

The staff here is great. Dr Tapia is very gentle and kind. Him & Aaron make you feel very comfortable. The front office gals are always smiling and friendly. I would recommended this place to anyone!

I recently had to have a root canal. Me suffering from dentist anxiety was not thrilled. Dr. Tapia was amazing, my anxiety went away, he was very gentle and caring....His assistant Nicole was also very attentive to make sure I was doing ok. The experience was without pain and I totally recommend Dr.Tapia for anyone who has dental anxiety. Great job Dr.T

I had my dental cleanings with Sara Cheney (hygienist) and she was so gentle and detailed. I definitely felt a significant difference in my oral care and highly recommend her! All the staff at Trufamily Dental at Litchfield are very friendly and answered all of my MANY questions ;) Overall, it was a great experience and I left the clinic without feeling any pain.

Great office, always clean and staff are very friendly. Mindy is so helpful and can get us in when we need it. husband had to have alot of teeth pulled and our out of pocket was afforable. Great with my children also. Highly recommend this office
