Dr. Patel's patient philosophy is simple: Everyone should be able to receive a pain-free visit, benefit from expert care and leave the patient chair with a beautiful smile. While Dr. Patel has been practicing for many years, he has a tremendous passion for technology. He strives each day to continue to be on the forefront of modern dentistry and incorporate all advances available in the field into patient care.
Dr. Patel's primary inspiration to pursue dentistry came from watching his own father practice family medicine in the suburbs of Mumbai. Dr. Patel has always enjoyed working with his hands and decided early on that he would pursue a career in dentistry. He is very grateful to have been practicing dentistry for decades and continue to do something he loves.
Dr. Patel met his beautiful wife during his time in dental school, where she was a classmate studying to become a pediatric dentisit. After they graduated and got married, they immagrated to the US and started their life together in Chicago. Dr. Patel and his wife now have two wonderful children and 4 awesome gradchildren.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Patel likes to travel abroad and experience different cultures and food. He also likes to spend time golfing in the summers and taking photos. Dr. Patel believes it is important to give back to the community and continues to provide free dental care. These various volunteering initiatives have even taken him to places like Uganda, Syria, and India.

Dr.Patel did my bottom implants and there perfect. Now we're working on a couple more and I can't wait to Smile. We've done extraction's and a cap so far.He is compassionate and caring and very polite and cares about his patients. Very accommodating and works with you on your treatments and I wouldn't go to any other Dentist. It's actually a pleasure to go there. The staff is Wonderful. Highly Recommended. Everything about this office was great the people that greeted you when you come in, the dentist that took care of me, the hygienist assistant, everybody was super!!! what I did not appreciate is the woman from billing show me what my bill was and asking me to pay right then and there. I am in their dental plan that is why I chose this dentist and I never had to pay for a service upfront For anything before receiving the service. I told her that I would wait for the statement to come out check it with my insurance statement to make it sure that the statement matches then I will pay the bill but she wasn't having it she said we expect payment the day of service. Very disappointing practice of paying, never had to do that for any other Dental or Medical practice.....

My hygienist, Lori, was very good. The dentist didn't have much of a bedside manner. I thought their equipment was outdated.

This place is highly recommended from my co-worker and at first I was hesitant because of my bad experience from my previous dental place . From my first visit , I was so amazed how friendly , compassionate and caring all staff from front desk to hygienist and Doctors . No wonder this place is highly recommended , their like my extended family

This is a friendly office that is very clean and organized. They are upfront with pricing and insurance and do not push any extra services. Great for the entire family.

I can't say enough about Tru Family Dental! Everyone I have interacted with ( receptionist, office manager, hygienist, assistants, billing and dentists) have been friendly, personable, and professional. I was having a lot of dental work done and mentioned I never had "nice" teeth. Dr. Patel was informed of this and immediately addressed my comment with a solution that would solve my current dental issues and give me the teeth I always wished for. I now smile more than I ever have and receive many compliments on my smile. When I tell people that my teeth are courtesy of Dr. Patel, they are amazed and comment that my teeth do not look like they were worked on at all. THANK YOU TRU FAMILY DENTAL AND DR. PATEL.

Awesome spot. Just moved and picked Tru Family Dental through my dental insurance. Receptionist was friendly and helpful! Dentist was thorough and gave me all possible options when it came to my dental health. Thanks guys!

I always dread going to the dentist but my experience here today made it so much easier. The Doctor and his assistant made sure i was comfortable during the procedure. They kept making sure I was ok and as numb as possible. I was in and out within a hour. The staff at the front desk were also friendly and welcoming.
