Dr. Troy Schrupp grew up in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 1982 and University of Minnesota Dental School in 1990. After graduation, Dr. Schrupp served in the Public Health Service in Rosebud, South Dakota for two years before moving to Portland, Maine. In 1994, he moved to the Lakes Region where he worked in private practices until opening his own practice in 2005. Dr. Schrupps practice is located in a beautifully renovated barn at his home in the historic village of Gilford,NH.
He is married with 3 children and has a silver lab named Sadie. Troy enjoys hiking in the Belknap Range, Nordic skiing at Gunstock, and terrorizing opposing defensemen in the Sunday night mens hockey league.
Stacie joined our team in October of 2017. She has been a certified dental assistant since 2001 and then pursued her associates degree in Health Science, as a Register Dental Hygienist in 2006 at NHTI. She is certified in local anesthesia and has extensive experience providing oral care to both children and adults. Stacie lives in Gilmanton with herhusband, three sons, and their manypets!
Ms. Ginny Joined our team in June of 2021. She received her Associates Degree in Health, as a Registered Dental Hygienist from the university of Rhode Island and her BS and certified health specialist degree from Plymouth State University.
Ms. Ginny is not a new colleague of Dr Schrupp, they actually worked alongside each other at the dental resource center at LRGH prior to him opening his private practice. Ms. Ginny is very well known to the preschool/elementary schools in the area as the tooth fairy, where she visited classrooms and provided oral hygiene instruction. She was a health service coordinator for Belknap and Merrimack counties head start programs and also set up oral care programs for numerous nursing homes in the area. The importance of oral care during all phases of life has been a driving force in her 30+ years as a dental hygienist. She enjoys gardening, yoga, choral singing, playing the flute and piccolo, and loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Tanya has been Dr. Schrupps office manager since the office opened back in 2005. She wears several hats in the office, from clerical to clinical, and she ensures that the patients always come first. Tanya lives in Laconia with her husband and enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with our son.

My whole family has been going to Dr. Schrupp for years and we have always loved him! He is very professional and puts people at ease right away! This was very helpful when my children were young. They never developed a fear of going to the dentist. My children are now young adults. One has even moved out of the state, but still comes back to Dr. Schrupp's office regularly for cleanings. When I heard he was hiring other staff members, I thought that going there would lose its personal touch and friendly atmosphere, however, that is not the case! I have now been seen by both of his hygienists, and they are wonderful!

I have been going to Dr Schrupp for many years . I used to have a hard time going to the dentist but everyone at Dr Schrupp's office has really relieved my fears of the experience. Everyone is friendly, kind and makes you feel like you are their only patient. I highly recommend Dr.Schrupp and staff!

Being an avid cycler (both road and mountain) I have taken my share of spills and landed on my helmet jarring my teeth. I also had an impacted wisdom tooth come to the upright position shoving my other teeth around in my mouth. Dr. Schrupp has always been there for my emergencies whether it was dealing with chipped teeth, knocked out coverings, or the fall out from the wisdom tooth. He is a great communicator as to everything I need to know about each dental experience I have. He is a fair and caring dentist and his entire team reflects that same demeanor and professionalism. I highly recommend Schrupp Dentistry for your entire family.

Dr. Schrupp was recommended by a coworker during a tooth emergency I had a few years ago. My family and I have been going to him ever since. He fixed my tooth and provided me a crown which he prepared right in his office during my visit, no waiting. Tanya, the office manager, and Stacie, the dental hygienist, are both very nice and professional. Stacie does a great job cleaning your teeth. The equipment is sterilized properly and the office is very clean. If you are looking for a great dentist, Dr. Schrupp is the one, you will not be disappointed.

Yesterday I had to take my son in with a broken tooth for extraction. Dr. Schrupp was very accommodating in his schedule and understanding of special circumstances. We highly recommend Dr. Schrupp. We have already requested that our records be forwarded to his office for the whole family.
