Dr. Troy Schrupp grew up in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 1982 and University of Minnesota Dental School in 1990. After graduation, Dr. Schrupp served in the Public Health Service in Rosebud, South Dakota for two years before moving to Portland, Maine. In 1994, he moved to the Lakes Region where he worked in private practices until opening his own practice in 2005. Dr. Schrupps practice is located in a beautifully renovated barn at his home in the historic village of Gilford,NH.
He is married with 3 children and has a silver lab named Sadie. Troy enjoys hiking in the Belknap Range, Nordic skiing at Gunstock, and terrorizing opposing defensemen in the Sunday night mens hockey league.
Stacie joined our team in October of 2017. She has been a certified dental assistant since 2001 and then pursued her associates degree in Health Science, as a Register Dental Hygienist in 2006 at NHTI. She is certified in local anesthesia and has extensive experience providing oral care to both children and adults. Stacie lives in Gilmanton with herhusband, three sons, and their manypets!
Ms. Ginny Joined our team in June of 2021. She received her Associates Degree in Health, as a Registered Dental Hygienist from the university of Rhode Island and her BS and certified health specialist degree from Plymouth State University.
Ms. Ginny is not a new colleague of Dr Schrupp, they actually worked alongside each other at the dental resource center at LRGH prior to him opening his private practice. Ms. Ginny is very well known to the preschool/elementary schools in the area as the tooth fairy, where she visited classrooms and provided oral hygiene instruction. She was a health service coordinator for Belknap and Merrimack counties head start programs and also set up oral care programs for numerous nursing homes in the area. The importance of oral care during all phases of life has been a driving force in her 30+ years as a dental hygienist. She enjoys gardening, yoga, choral singing, playing the flute and piccolo, and loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Tanya has been Dr. Schrupps office manager since the office opened back in 2005. She wears several hats in the office, from clerical to clinical, and she ensures that the patients always come first. Tanya lives in Laconia with her husband and enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with our son.
