Dr. Miles is a Hoosier with a diverse educational background. She earned her Bachelors in Psychology at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Next, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Boston University School of Dentistry. Dr. Miles completed her periodontal training at Indiana University School of Dentistry where she obtained her Certification in Periodontics, Masters Degree in Dentistry, and a minor in Oral Pathology. She served as chief resident during her residency and was a recipient of the prestigious Swenson Award, which is awarded to the top resident for excellence in clinical and academic performance.
Dr. Miles had two publications during residency: Complications Associated with the Placement and Restoration of Dental Implants, which was published in theJournal of the Indiana Dental Association. Her next publication has been accepted in theJournal of Dental Education.
Dr. Miles is certified to perform in-office IV sedation along with inhalation and oral sedation. As a recipient of the BioHorizons Scholarship for a periodontal resident, she received additional training in soft tissue grafting at the Pat Allen Soft Tissue Grafting course in Dallas, Texas

Friendly professional environment! They know what they are doing and take the time to explain how and why! They also decided to combine 2 appointments into 1 to save me some money. They are awesome!

I have been going to this business for periodontal care for 20+ years. I have always been very pleased with the dentists and dental hygienists. Lori has been one of my hygienists for a long time. She's friendly and does a fantastic job relating educational information, reassuring you re ur teeth and how you are or need to care for them. She took her time with my teeth today as she knew I was unhappy re some staining. The result- sparkling clean teeth and reassurance that I'm doing a good job and my condition of my teeth appears stable. Very pleased with Dr Miles as well, friendly and knowledgeable. Office is accommodating. Would highly recommend this office.

I can't say enough about dr miles and Laurie and staff... I was an original patient of this practice many years ago .. and was very happy .... since dr miles took over .. I just love her! She has known me now for a few years and always has been so accommodating to me .. I've dealt with gum disease and bone loss for the last few years and her care to me is excellent! Thank you!

I've been going here since Dr Collins was there. Never had any issues. Dr Myles and her staff especially Lori are very friendly and caring. Would never want to go anywhere else.

Was referred to Dr. Miles by my dentist for a loose tooth. Scaling and Root Planing was recommended to prevent further bone loss. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and thankfully patient! I didn't read about the procedure pre-appointment. Luckily, my plethora of questions were all answered fully. I was informed and comfortable having it done, and they were able to complete my right side the same day! I'm sure they were relieved my mouth was silent during the work! To my surprise, after the novocain wore off, I am virtually pain free!! Thank You Dr. Miles and staff!!

I have gone to Dr. Miles for almost four years. Thanks to her I have the best dental care I could wish for. I makes feel at ease to know at my age my teeth I still have might hang in there for awhile.

Dr Miles and her staff are amazing! I've always hated going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to seeing Dr Miles. She takes the time to explain things thoroughly and ensures you get the best care that works for you, as well as does everything to make your experience the least painful. She's gone above and beyond when I had an excruciatingly painful bad tooth that needed a root canal. The staff is also top tier and incredibly helpful-- from the reception desk to the dental hygienists. I don't think I've ever had such amazing health care providers and staff before coming here. Troy Periodontics sets a standard that I wish all health care providers would model themselves after.
