Dr. Beth Troy is a native of Latrobe, PA, and a graduate of Saint Vincent College. She earned her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and a masters degree from the School of Public Health. Following dental school, Dr. Troy attended orthodontics residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. She has been in private practice since 2008. She has also been rated as a Pittsburgh Top Dentist 2011-2021.
Dr. Troy is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania, American Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Society of Orthodontists, Pennsylvania Society of Orthodontists, and Western Pennsylvania Society of Orthodontists.

Staff was rude. Troy Orthodontics was referred to me for my daughter by our dentist . I called to set up the consultation appointment after verifying with her insurance company that they were an In-Network provider which they are. I was in the process of getting a date in which I was asked if she had dental insurance and told them what kind. All of a sudden the search for a date was stopped and I was told they weren't taking new patients at this time. Funny, because they were a second before that. It was like we were discriminated against because of the type of insurance we carry. She was rude about it, no explanation, just kept repeating that new patients aren't being accepted even after asking if the insurance was the reason.

Dr. Troy & her staff are the best! Very friendly and professional!!!! Office staff are extremely helpful from setting up your initial appointment to dealing with insurance inquires and follow ups , etc..... This is the first doctors office my son actually enjoys going to, they always make him feel at home and welcomed. Dr. Troy provides support to my son and provides the quality service you would want for your children's healthy teeth care. If you want excellent service and quality care, this is the place you want to go!

I don't have one bad thing to say about the office, Dr. Troy, or the staff! They have always been on time (if not early), and the office is extremely efficient and friendly. My son has had a great experience there, and I would HIGHLY recommend the office to anyone looking for a referral!

Dr. Troy is an extremely friendly, enthusiastic orthodontist. She treated my young daughter with respect and endured her questions and silliness with patience. The staff is efficient and helpful. Highly recommend this practice.

Loved going there when I had braces. Very good experience the entire time. But now when I go back with my retainers, the staff is not as friendly. Especially the lady with the red hair. Extremely rude.
