Dr. Regina Hendrix graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University in 1991 with a Bachelors degree in Zoology. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham prior to completing her general practice residency at Veterans Administration Hospital in Birmingham.
Dr. Hendrix has provided quality dental care since 1996. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the Third District Dental Society and the Wiregrass Study Club, which is an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Hendrix is a supporter of the American Cancer Society and a veteran of many Christian medical mission trips to Guatemala. She is a breast cancer survivor, and enjoys traveling, the beach, biking and waterskiing in her spare time. Dr. Hendrix and her husband Keith have two sons, Jake and Justin.

Yesterday I was scared to have my procedure done but Troy Family Dentist made it a good experience. Dr. Thompson explained everything to me as he did it and it was just like he said it. I've never had a root canal done before but he made my experience painless and reassured me that everything would be fine and it was. Thank you Troy Family Dentist for taking care of my dental needs.

I gave 4 stars because the main staff that actually cleaned my teeth / gave me a consultation were amazing! Some of the best staff and feedback I've gotten from a dentist's office! It would've been 5 but ONE of the front desk women were very short tempered and rude with me. Not sure if it was because I didn't have all my info with me (I had lost my wallet that morning) or if she was just having a bad day. I won't go into detail because I still want to come here because of the rest of the staff, but I really don't want to be treated like that when I come in next time. I truly don't want others to be treated like that either, and the front desk employees really do set the tone for the visit AND the last thing you remember as you leave <3
