Dr. Reem S. Shafi, CEO, Two Rivers Dental is the epitome of modern dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1998 and is a proud alumna of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After her graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL and opened her first dental practice by 2004. During that year of running her own practice, Dr. Shafi realized she had much more potential and decided to open a second practice. Now, a decade later, Dr. Shafi owns several practices, all of which are located in and around the Chicago area. Her company now employs over 140 employees and 30 dentists.
During the course of her professional career, Dr. Shafi has won numerous awards including her induction into Temple University Fox School of business League for Entrepreneurial Women Hall of Fame for the year 2013.
Hello! My name is Dr. Qingshan Li. I am an orthodontist with over 28 years of global experience in dentistry. I began my career in China, and then I practiced in Germany before moving to the United States. I completed a PhD in dentistry, as well as postgraduate training in restorative dentistry at the University of Kiel in Kiel, Germany. While at university, I also received my specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. I then relocated to the U.S. to become an Orthodontic Resident at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health (University of Rochester Medical Center) in Rochester, New York. I now live in Chicago, where I treat patients in multiple office locations. My dedication to this profession isnt limited to treating patients, however. I am proud to be involved in research and the continuous innovation of orthodontics. My research has been published in reputable journals, and Ive presented at domestic and international seminars on orthodontics. These seminars complement my efforts to research and incorporate the latest technology into my practice. I enjoy teaching and passing on my knowledge and expertise to the next generation of orthodontists at the Chicago campus of the University of Illinois (UIC).

In other words, I do not just correct crooked teeth and obtaining a functional bite, while designing my patients treatment to achieve a youthful and beautiful smile. I know it sounds like Im juggling a lot between creating amazing smiles in my orthodontic practice, researching new treatment methods and technology, and teaching the next generation of orthodontists but I do have down time. I enjoy swimming, travelling and photography, but the most important thing to me is spending time with my wife, Dr. Bin Yang, and daughter.
Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.

I love Dr.Singh. I initially went to Troy Dental because I wanted a referral to a periodontist for a few implants. However, plans changed when he explained to me some unknown issues I had with my teeth and explained the plan thoroughly and the importance of preserving my permanent teeth first before looking into implants. He has a patient demeaner that can be seen in the way he interacts with both his patients and staff. I love how he takes the time to do teaching with some newer hygienists/assistants. The hygienists have all been wonderful to work with. I can't say enough about the front staff that helped create a schedule to fit the work in that needed done at a good pace but still kept me mostly in my dental insurance budget for the year. They stayed on top of things so I wouldn't continue to let problem teeth fester. Now, I am ready to be don't for a 6 month cleaning without major dental work pending which is amazing! I loved my dentist who I've seen for many years but I am so happy to have made a change.

Thank you to Troy Dental for continued great service over the years! In particular, I wanted to thank Vashni, whom also is referred to as "V", for being so patient and flexible with adjusting to the needs of the patient to ensure their visit is as comfortable as possible. BEWARE OF FUTURE BILLS, THE ESTIMATE THEY GIVE IS NOT TURE COST. It started with a referral to get a root canel they didn't set enough time to do it then rescheduled me and called 30 minutes before appointment to cancel. I was still in pain and they did not care. I went somewhere else to get my root canel. Unfortunately the place I went did not do crowns so I came back to Troy dental. I was told the cost after my root canel was done and then 3 months later I get a bill in the mail for another $200.
