Dr. Shah earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1987 and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in 1989 fromGovernment Dental College Ahmedabad. Dr. Shah completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) fromColumbia Universityin 1995. Dr. Shah has been practicing in Michigan ever since, providing quality restorative and cosmetic family dentistry. She actively seeks out the newest technology, best materials, and latest techniques available in the industry today in order to incorporate them into her practice. Since the beginning of her dental career, Dr. Shah has placed thousands of bonded restorations and has transformed many beautiful, healthy smiles.
Dr. Shah enjoys cooking, reading, and being with her family. She is also involved in Dentists R Us, a school-based mobile dentistry program, and Healthy Smiles, a non-profit dental organization that provides free dental care for underprivileged children at a reduced fee.
Dr. Aviles is one of the outstanding cosmetic dentists at Troy Dental Care. Dr. Aviles attendedNew York University, where he received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery). He began practicing general dentistry in 2001 in Troy.
Dr. Anthony Dietz is a graduate of the University of Detroit and the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. He completed his residency in Endodontics and Master's of Science degrees at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. In addition to his practice here at Troy Dental Care, he has devoted many hours to professional organizations for several dental associations including, American and Michigan Dental association.
Dr. Humaira Majjhoo earned her Bachelor's of Science from Michigan State University. She then went on to earn her Master's of Science at Wayne State. Dr. Majjhoo received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2010 at Detroit Mercy. She completed her residency of general practice at the VA hospital in Detroit in 2011. Dr. Majjhoo has been practicing since, she went on to join our team in 2017. Dr. Majjhoo is actively involved with the Oakland County Dental Association. She is also a member of the American and Michigan Dental association.
Cheri is the office manager at Troy Dental Care. Since 1999, she has been interacting with patients and making sure scheduling runs smoothly. Cheri is always happy to answer any questions you may have about dental treatment or insurance policies.

Don't go there, unless you have Dr. Shah. Anyone else in here don't seem to know what they are doing - especially the male doctor there! Also, billing is an issue... got to watch the claims they submit... they charge for more services than they provided (e.g. they'll submit claim for N X-rays, when only N-n X-rays were taken. About the service... went in for an issue... they took an X-ray, said it was a long procedure and can't do it the same day (fair-enough, I thought). The fact was, there was no one there at the time who could do the procedure (I later find out!). But, I get an appointment for 2 weeks later (maybe, Covid related back-log, I tell myself). one week later, they call me to postpone for another week, then the next week, they call me to postpone another week! I'm already learning to leave with the pain... and what's the point going to someone else now. Finally, after 4 weeks, I go back in... the "Dr." looks at the X-ray and tells me, nothing we can do here... I have to go see someone else first, for pre-work, and then come back for actual procedure. They had the X-ray for 4 weeks and couldn't tell me earlier that I needed to go someplace else first. Few years back, they did a procedure for me and I had to go there twice afterwards to have them fix the mess from the first time. Last time I'm going here.

Only reason this has a 2nd star is Dr. Mahjoo. Dr. Shah is So so very rude. She insinuated I was a liar and my bill jumped $100 without any type of explanation and when I questioned it I was a liar and she "had other patients to attend too" she wasn't even my dentist nor had we previously communicated. will not be returning my business or referring anyone there!

Professional snd friendly staff. I had a root canal retreatment with Dr. Dietz he is the best, i felt no pain whatsoever and he worked really fast. Keep in mind he is only in the office on mondays so he is pretty booked, I had to wait 30mins or so before i got seen, but it is absolutely worth it and sometimes they let me know in advance! I will be recommending Dr. Dietz to family and friends

I needed a lot of dental work done a few years back, root canals, fillings and crowns. I went here for everything and deeply regret it. Some of my fillings have fallen out and were replaced at a different dentist. Two of my crowns were badly placed and the roots underneath rotted. The wait is terribly long, come here for a filling and be here for 2 hours. One time the dentist slipped while drilling and knicked the inside of my cheek. Everyone is friendly and nice but it's not good quality work and the management is terrible.

My original experience was good with them. I got the work needed and was on my way. However, I needed to get a crown placed a few years back and they put it in, however, they didn't place it correctly but didn't notice until 2 years later. Now I have been going to them for the past 2 months because this is the 4th time they messed up my crown. They take the molds but then they get messed up. Not very good experiences lately.

Staff is very helpful. They work with you to make the soonest appointments. Doctors and Hygienists are top of the line! Very caring and compassionate people. Highly recommend 10/10.

I was having a hard day trying to find somewhere to take my kids because of our insurance. A lovely young lady helped me and scheduled my kids an appointment. Overall I recommend Troy Dental Care to everyone see as how they are extremely polite and willing to help!

The best Dentist office I've ever been to!! They really took care of my teeth and made me feel comfortable throughout my whole visit and the staff is so friendly and inviting. I would definitely recommend going here!!
