Was going to the Tennessee location and our car broke down on the way, we called them and explained the situation and they said it was okay. We called back to make a appointment and the lady was RUDE, she said they wouldn't unless we pre-paid because we missed the last appointment so I said I would pay over the phone and she said she wouldn't take that and we had to come into the office and pay and then make a appointment for another week. We live 2 hours away and couldn't just go for no reason. We asked for a number to call to talk to the doctor or someone higher up and she said she would NOT give us any number to call. We begged her to please give us a appointment due to a bad tooth and she refused. If this is their policy shouldn't they tell the patients before they make a appointment. We even asked her if this is the policy why they wouldn't tell the patients and she refused the answer the question. She hung up on us as well. We will be calling Monday and talking to someone higher up and I hope that lady never has car issues and is refused treatment when she's in severe pain. GET BETTER HELP AND MAKE YOUR PATIENT'S FEEL LIKE THEY ARE WELCOME. People can't help if their car breaks down. So sad because we used to love Troy hoover office. DO BETTER DOCTOR HOOVER. Edit to add: We emailed Dr hoover and was absolutely speechless with how little concerned he was how his worker spoke to us. All he said was so sorry about the scheduling and yes that has been my policy. A true decent human would have apologized for the way his worked spoken to us. Will never go back and will tell everyone we recommended him to not to go back. Very disappointed in dr hoover and his staff.

Dr. Hoover is absolutely the BEST dentist! Completely painless, very professional yet puts you a ease as soon as you sit down in his chair. The office/staff ladies are as exceptional as Dr. Hoover. The best choice to make for dental extraction.

Always a pleasant experience, which isn't something you'd normally expect from a dental visit. Ensures there's no pain or real discomfort during procedures and everyone is incredibly friendly

Had 4 teeth pulled today 2 being wisdom teeth and was extremely nervous. Dr.hoover had an excellent attitude and made me feel comfortable with what was goin on. This will be my dentist for anything I need in the future and highly recommend him to anybody looking for a dentist. Here it is 10 hours later the numb has wore off and I'm not hurting as bad as I thought I would be! Excellent job from the front desk as well and extremely reasonable pricing!

Absolutely the best care at a reasonable price. You're treated with dignity knowing you're not just a number and they're not just about money! Very kind, gentle and patient staff. You'll leave feeling better with a very informative treatment plan.

Went today to have some teeth pulled...was just gonna have 3 but ended up with 6.. and the doc.was absolutely amazing! Felt no pain what so ever! The staff was amazing! Would def recommend them to anyone who needs dental work! And prices are reasonable!

Dr. Hoover is so friendly and instantly put me to ease! I had 15 teeth removed and a plate put in. It's been 14 hrs after and so far I feel great! I highly recommend him! His prices can't be beat! I'm a forever patient!

I have never been happier to get my front tooth fixed, and Dr. Hoover did an excellent job. The staff is super friendly, the office is very clean, and the staff are extremely efficient. Highly recommended!

I had an extraction done yesterday and Dr. HOOVER DDS was absolutely wonderful. Minimal pain and his bedside manner was amazing. I will never go anywhere else to have my mouth worked on. His staff was so nice and empathetic.

had 2 teeth needing pulled , found out i needed 3 pulled , he pulled all 3 in less than 15 mins , and done a super great job , no tear's , no pain , wonderful dentist !!!!!!!!!!

I went 2 weeks in a row to Dr Hoover to get a total of 7 teeth extracted. Both times hardly any pain afterwards & everyone in the office was so nice. Dr Hoover also gave me some great advice on looking after the teeth I have left & they also let my wife sit in the room while I was being worked on. Great Price too. I never thought a trip to the dentist would be as pleasant as it was.! Updated 8/23/2019 - Had to go back to Dr Hoover on 8/19/2019 for a tooth abscess. Again hardly any pain, Dr Hoovers pain management is great as well as his assistant. I was worried also as the tooth was badly decayed that it would break but Dr Hoover got the tooth all out easy peasy lol. No pain after needles wore of or the next day. I honestly cannot recommend Dr Hoover highly enough.

Had a tooth extraction today and Dr. Hoover did an excellent job. He ensured that I felt zero pain and was fast. Will not get dental work anywhere else from now on!
