Dr. Trovato is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has practiced for 30 years at this same location. He has extensive training in both Functional Orthodontics, and in Straight Wire Techniques. Dr. Trovato is also experienced in several clear aligner techniques including Invisalign.

As a dentist I dont profess to know how to recruit talent for big companies, but I have been reading a few articles about studies lately that have been sending a strong message and I want to send it to as many employers out there as possible.
Its simple a message employees care about dental benefits, and its a key decision-making criteria for accepting job offers. Granted, the economy is still recovering, and its not exactly a wide open job market out there. But I do know that human resources professionals are reviewed on their ability to bring the best staff to their companies. My point is that all the research indicates that good dental benefits matter a lot more than they may think.
For instance, The Long Group Healthcare Reform Study from 2008 discovered that the majority of workers out there rate dental benefit highly. Their survey of employee attitudes toward dental benefits revealed that 70 percent of them said that dental benefits coverage is somewhat or very important. Whats more, if a company drops dental benefits, it compares unfavorably to competitors who do offer them.
Large companies seem to get that point. The Journal of the American Dental Association reported in 2010 that among large companies in the U.S. with more than 1,000 employees, about 86 percent offer some type of dental benefit to their employees. However, among all companies of all sizes, only about 35 percent offer dental benefits at all. That means small businesses, which accounts for roughly 70 percent of all American business and employees, arent giving dental benefits the respect they deserve.
Now, in my opinion, the strongest plan that employees can offer covers 100 percent of preventive care with no deductible. This encourages employees to get regular dental check-ups to treat minor problems before they become major problems. This is smart, because it means that employees will be less at risk for lengthy absences that can sometimes be caused by dental emergencies that could have been avoided with proper preventative care.
If companies have to keep costs down, they should at least offer a plan with a large dental network. According to the Ruark Consulting Dental PPO Network Study from 2010, when employees choose a network dentist, claims expenses are reduced, which immediately benefits a self-insured group and can lead to more stable overall costs in the long run for fully insured groups. In addition, visiting a PPO network dentist can save an enrollee around 30 percent on average as compared to standard industry charges.
My final argument to employers for good dental benefits is that preventative dentistry is a valuable healthcare diagnostic tool. By helping to diagnose other potential health threats, a good dental plan can help keep overall healthcare costs for the company down. Regular preventive checkups give dentists the opportunity to screen for oral cancers and other health issues that can be difficult for individuals to spot on their own. For example, more than 75 percent of oral cancers can be identified either visually or through palpation in a comprehensive oral exam.
So, thats my case. Take it with a grain of salt, if you must. A good dental plan is simply a good idea for companies who want to attract the best employees, and its an even better tool for keeping them.

My mother was asked not to come back to this office after colossal damage was done to her teeth. She had to go to another dentist to correct the error. Also, I find it very strange and unsettling that my patient info was looked up for a Google review.

Trovato Family Laser Dentistry is an excellent practice. I have been a long time patient and can truly attest to the high quality of care this team provides to their patients. To begin, the office is clean and the office staff is extremely friendly, organized, and helpful. I never have issues with wait time, billing, or insurance. And, if a question does arise, the staff is right there to answer it. Joyce is an excellent hygienist. She is thorough, knowledgeable and gentle. She has a knack for making people feel welcome and comfortable. I am never nervous to sit in her chair. Not to mention that my mouth feels extremely clean and refreshed when she's done. Dr. Trovato is a wonderful dentist. He is highly knowledgeable and always offers the treatment and advice that is in the best interest of the patient. When I needed dental surgery, Dr. Trovato was honest and helped me make the best choice for my health. I have known the Doctor for years. How ever I am a man of convince. So distance was always a problem for me. I live in Sussex county I traveled to him the first time for me knowing this man over 20 years . It's a shame I did not use his service sooner. The office staff is great and it is a no rush atmosphere. It's like they gave a car a tune up. Along with full detail on your car. Never had the experience at any doctors office. See you in six months .

My biggest fear is the dentist. I had very bad experiences and doctors are never able to get me numb. Im very sensitive and I CANT stand the sound of the drill. Dr. Trovato went above and beyond to make sure I never felt pain and was okay (under the circumstances). He scheduled extra time to work with me and never worked on me if I felt pain. I did A LOT of research before coming here even crying on the phone with the patient receptionist who answered all my questions. I don't have insurance I paid everything out of pocket and it was worth it. I will never go anywhere else if I have to go to the dentist. I just want to mention I had rebuild of a tooth removal of an old filling cleaning of the tooth and a cap. I felt no pain. Highly recommend DR. Trovato and I HATE dentists.

I have had great experiences with Dr. Trovato and his team for most of my adult life, so when it came time to consider full mouth implants I felt confident with Dr. Trovato's skills and comfortable with his supportive and caring staff. Now at the age of 70, I have beautiful smile to live my best life in retirement. I am grateful to Dr Trovato, Nikki, Britany and Natasha for taking the time to make each visit a pleasant one.

Great service and friendly staff. I called to reschedule an appointment last minute and someone actually answered the phone around 9 at night. I got a dental implant here and the process couldn't have gone better. Highly recommended.
