Dr. Jason Troutmanis a Mebane, North Carolina native. He attended E.M. Yoder Elementary and Woodlawn Middle School, and graduated from Eastern Alamance High School in 1998. He received his Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2006 from the UNC School of Dentistry. His senior year of dental school, Dr. Troutman was awarded the Monte G. Miska award for excellence in Prosthodontics, the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. He was also requested by the head doctor of the Prosthodontics department to assist in teaching the Advanced Prosthodontics course to juniors of the dental school.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Troutman began private practice here in Mebane. He was very eager to begin his practice beside his father, who has been practicing here for over 35 years. He built his new office in 2007 in order to provide both a comfortable and relaxing environment while incorporating the newest dental technologies for his patients to receive the best dental care possible. Dr. Troutman not only works in private practice, but also volunteers with Missions of Mercy Dental Clinic and Give Kids A Smile. Dr. Troutman is currently serving his second term as the President of the Alamance-Caswell dental society. He is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Organization of Safety and Asepsis Prevention.
Dr. Troutman has been happily married to Jamie since 2002. They have three boysCaden, Casey, and Coltonand one daughter, Zaylee. They are active members of their church and enjoy spending time together on their farm here in Mebane. In his spare time, Dr. Troutman also enjoys laps at Virginia International Raceway, ATVing, and anything Carolina Blue!!
Shea is a North Carolina native. She graduated from the University Of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She has practiced dental hygiene with Dr. Troutman since graduating in 1996. Shea lives in Graham with her husband and three daughters.
Kaci was born and raised in Hillsborough. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Dental Hygiene program in 2004. Kaci began working for Troutman Family Dentistry in 2006. She lives in Mebane with her husband, two children, and three step-children. Away from work she enjoys spending time with her family and attending the many sporting events that the children are involved in.
Kristyn was born and raised in North Carolina. She went to Guilford Technical Community College and graduated with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. Shortly after graduating, Kristyn began working at Troutman Family Dentistry. She has really enjoyed the experience and getting to know the patients. Kristyn enjoys spending time with family and her three children.
Laurie relocated to North Carolina from Massachusetts in 2006. She has been with Troutman Family Dentistry ever since Dr. Jason Troutman began his practice in 2006. Prior to her relocation, she was the office manager at a dental practice on Cape Cod. In addition to her business management duties, her extensive computer training, background, and certification allow her to keep our office technology running smoothly. Laurie now lives in Burlington and has four children. She enjoys her job and when not working enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
Paige graduated from the Alamance Community College dental assisting program 12 years ago. She continues to enjoy the dental assisting profession. Outside of the office she enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends and family.
Crystal graduated from Alamance Community College in 2013 from the Dental Assisting Program. She joined the Troutman Family Dentistry team in April of 2014. Crystal lives in Elon with her husband. When not working, Crystal enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fur babies.
